Let's just forget two of the nations that had the most casualties in the conflict and their own campaigns. In terms of relevance and importance, the french army went through the most serious shit (Ypres, Verdun, etc.) and the russian army was no small player either, having the most casualties out of everyone, so much that they started conscripting women, underaged people and even little kids of 10-12 to send to the front.
