are you guys still playing this game?
>free to play for 2 weeks
I'm afraid to host open lobbies.
Haven't played since Hype Train. Has it improved at all since?

>weapons were rebalanced, meaning everything is now kind of sort of viable
>skill tree was totally reworked, now builds offer more variety
>hitman is still useless
>grinder was nerfed, other decks took it's place
>to maximize dodge, now you need to use a dodge centric deck
>new heists are fun but some can be a bit taxing (goat sim, beneath the sky)
>they added micro transactions with weapon skins but have removed them since
Dunno what I missed.
>literal meme ending
Also, what did she mean with the "Bye bye"?
>>342345973
You know that she's not saying anything like that at all in Japanese version? Fucking treehouse does it again.
>>342347370
What does she say in the Japanese version?

Hi /v/,
Is the VITA worth buying?
I love the vita, however I am moving out soon, so I will need to buy one if I wish to play it.
So I'm wondering if there will be any games worth buying beyond the new zero escape game, and Steins;Gate 0, I really can't think of anything.
Thanks /v/
>is the vita worth buying
>i love the vita
wat
>>342344527
Maybe he meant to say he loves the idea of the Vita?
What genres are you into senpai
What did he mean by this?
That Marvel vs Capcom 3 wasn't worth all the trouble
>>342343859
It means MvC4 won't happen ever

Old post is old. Marvel is okay with licensing now.
White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (화이트데이: 학교라는 이름의 미궁) is a Korean PC horror game from 2001.
DL: http://www.moddb.com/games/white-day/downloads
In order to get it run flawlessly run i in XP service pack 3 as admin.
Gameplay is similar to Amnesia/Penumbra.
>Why make a thread like this?
To present more obscure games, preferably the spooky ones, feel free to contribute other spooky titles that are not so well known!

Korean games > Japanese games
The characters actually look Asian.

I'll check it out once I get somewhere with my gookspeak

What was it /v/?
During the AQ opening we world pvp'd until there was no morning... most enjoyable experience ever.
>>342342367
PvE server here I had the opposite experience. Kept running into all the horde I pvp'ed with and /waved at all of them. Fun as hell.
>>342342228
Those little fights in front of Tarren Mill.
It went from that random ganking and escalated in to a large fight between low levels and the occasional level 60 rogue rape machine.
So now that this game is announced for PC how long until they will announce Nier automata for PC aswell?
Also sonyfanboys please stay out.
never ever
just like Desth Stranding is coming to PC right fellow PCers? :^]

why did this game just come into existence
it's free, it had no sequel, it's from an indi dev who never went on to make anything else noteworthy
and despite all this, it's pretty decent.
Has there ever been a game like Cave Story that just.. exists one day, and is never talked about, completely free, and isn't shitty?
It's wierd to think about.
>>342341556
It was a product of it's time and the mentality of freeware, it was a good age for creativity.
Today we have Steam where any fucknut can put an RPG maker game on there for $15 and everyone's chasing the Minecraft money.
If you mean freeware, yeah there's a ton. Specifically RPG maker, has a lot of free games come out of it.
One of my favorite free games was Soldat. I used to play it all the time as a kid. Multiplayer is probably long dead by now, or populated by 20-30 Russians and Polish guys.
>Why did Pixel make this game? Like, why the fuck? The amount of loving attention to detail that went into this game indicates that the man, beyond a shadow of a doubt, possesses the mental fortitude befitting a researcher in a facility in Antarctica, delving into the permafrost, seeking the Cure For All Cancers. Why did Pixel bother making a videogame, when God had given him this situational opportunity to Literally Save The World? At the very least, the man could have sought out the Ultimate Toothbrushing Solution — a three-second-a-day quick rinse that eliminates the need to brush your teeth, while also keeping them sparkling white. (It’d be like those antibacterial hand-wash-lotion things, only for your mouth.) Instead, he made a videogame. We can only theorize that his reason for making a videogame instead of something objectively beneficial to the human race as a whole was because he had a computer at home, and not a chemistry set. “Employment” in a “Japanese Office”, as you may have heard, usually involves sitting in a chair for fourteen hours a day scrolling a spreadsheet up and down — same as any office anywhere in the world, except with this added pseudo-obligation to do “overtime” every night, especially when you’re not busy. Pixel was likely getting home tired every night — riding a bicycle to and from the office — so he’d get there, sit down, rest his hands on his pillow-like keyboard, and hack out fierce code, just pouring the contents of his brain out into this game. Eventually, it was playable, and even more eventually, it was great.

Please somebody explain the combat system of this game to me.
It doesn't matter what configuration of combat tactics i use, every single time I get into combat, my companions stand around and do nothing until I fucking tell them to attack.
>>342341465
As I recall you can actually set tactics, tell the AI what to do under what conditions. (i.e. 'if Alistair is under melee attack use X spell' kind of deal) Maybe something is fucked there?
>>342341629
I set it to attack the nearest enemy, yet still my companions stand there and do nothing while I get rekt.
>>342341721
Aren't there also settings to make your companions behave passively or aggressively? It could be that.
I'm going to need you to step outside of the vehicle, with your Fallout 4 receipts in the air where I can see 'em
That's it, I've had enough. Time to filter this shit.
I.
Just.
Can't.
Take.
It.
Any.
More.
hi To...I mean hi officer, here is my Fallout 4 + Season Pass receipt. I also wonder if you could tell me when I can pre-order Skryim: Remastered? I'm thinking of getting one for my XBOX ONE and one for MICROSOFT WINDOWS 10 PC.
sure buddy
Anyone willing to explain to me why normalfags hate the everloving fuck out of the new CoD? From what I've seen of the E3 gameplay, the core mechanics are obviously still there but the setpieces are definitely a step-up from Blops 2/3 and AW.
Is it literally just because "HURR FUTURE SHIT IS FOR NERDS"?
>>342338761
Do you really want to know why? It's because they're on a tape delay and think it's still hip to hate Call of Duty and hating it makes you more of a 'hardcore' gamer
>>342338761
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss.
Uhh what? Normies love CoD thats why it flourishes every year.
OP you sound normie as fuck. Just leave plz
has the overwatch hype already died down? less viewers than dead by daylight.
>>342337671
Why do you care how many viewbots a game has on a stream site?
>>342337671
Doesnt matter, you can't see foreign countries. Plus usually CSGO is over Dota and it has 1/2 of Dotas population. People watch Streamers, not games
>>342337671
>CSGO less than ogrewatch
wow
It's on sale, is it worth buying?
>>342337080
yes.
>>342337367
why
Let's predict what TESVI will be like
>set in some human region and heavily focused on humans because casuals hate other races
>no skills
>perksystem similar to Fallout 4, for example lockpicking is based on 4 perks which define what locks you can pick
>no lockpicking minigame
>voiced MC, you can still choose race and sex but every race will have only two voices, male and female obviously
>built on Gamebryo once again
>physics still tied to fps
>less options and you can only play as good character
>thieves guild and dark brotherhood are featured, but not joinable because it doesn't fit the character
>Every named NPC is marked as essential
>all mage stuff combined in one perktree which is just "cast spells with less magicka"
>no more light armor/heavy armor, just armor perk which is "absorb more damage
So basically it's going to be Fallout 4 with guns, 2018 GOTY confirmed.
>>342330403
>Fallout 4 with guns
are you high?
>>342330523
I obviously meant with swords. I was thinking how Skyrim was fallout with guns.

Elder Scrolls 6 wont be coming out this generation
Todd Howard talked about es6 with IGN and here's what he said:
"[Elder Scrolls 6 is] kind of like the elephant in the room, always, when we talk about anything," Howard explained, "and you know, I think it's good in these moments to tell our fans yes, of course we are [working on it] - it's something we love - but it is... you know, I have to be careful what I say, it's a very long way off.
"I could sit here and explain the game to you, and you would say, 'That sounds like you don't even have the technology. How long is that going to take?' So it is something that's going to take a lot of time, what he have in mind for that game, and we actually have two other large projects we're also doing that are bigger than everything we've done. People will probably hear about those even before Elder Scrolls 6. That'll make sense many years from now"
"We think very long term. We're not a developer that's going to rush something like this out," he continued. "When you think about what is the future of that kind of game, we have a pretty good idea of what that's going to be, and it's just going to take technology and time we don't necessarily have right now."
