Why do people constantly drone on about this game taking no skill?
The skill ceiling on characters like widow maker, genji, macree etc... are all totally dependent on ones ability to aim well. Yes characters like reinhardt and mercy require almost no aiming, but that doesn't mean there isn't any skill involved in using abilities properly or positioning yourself, communicating to your team what you are doing or are capable of.
I know I can't aim for shit, I had trouble even getting to LEM in CSGO. So I know that I'll never actually be good at offensive or sniper characters in OW, even support characters like zenyatta. But this game is gonna to give people like me a shot to be the best at certain roles in a team composition if I have enough game knowledge and can work together in a team.
As far as "ults are free kills / let anyone be a god" this is totally no true at all. Every single ult except widowmakers walls has a very distinguishable audio que, which also gives off what direction it's coming from. Ult's also have counterplay, you can destroy riptire before it get to you, meis ult has a hefty delay giving you time to run, high noon makes macree walk at a snails pace and glow for an easy headshot or allow you to get behind cover, reinhards ult is a narrow cone allowing you to position yourself correctly in a teamfight, etc...
I don't understand where this sentiment comes from. Is it poorfags that wanted a F2P game? TF2 fanbois mad that something better has come a long? Or just autists that don't have any friends and are forced to solo que?

Why did sonic autists throw a shitfit over this game? I just beat it and it was fantastic, the only bad world was Frozen Factory but besides that, everything else was fun as fuck. The ability to toggle controls/speed levels worked great after getting used to it. Sonic has tight controls when slow as seen in levels like Tropical Coast Act 2 with the little islands you have to platform on.
There was great variety, gimmicks, music. Red Rings seem to be hidden well since I missed a lot, and the side missions are fun. Only cons I have to give it would be the already mentioned Frozen Factory (only Act 2 was good) and the writing and characterization fucking sucked, especially for Sonic and Tails. Otherwise this game is a solid 8 or 8.5, depending on your tolerance.

I enjoyed it a lot (beyond some really, really stage involving a snowball, I forget the exact details) and the annoying grind to find those red rings (but that's just because secrets are never fun to find when you're trying to force yourself through a checklist instead of "oh hey that's a cool secret.") and while I do understand some complaints I do think it's massively overblown yeah.
I really loved this game, it was comfy like a kirby game.
How is everyone enjoying Doom?
I've been having a great time with it. The action feels fluid, and the game looks pretty smootheven on my Xbone.
I haven't touched the multiplayer yet, but the campaign has me enthralled. Even with the small amounts of story, it seem to be all it needs to keep me going forward. The codex was a nice touch too, and allowed me to immerse myself more into the world itself.
So far, my favorite part is the Gore Nests. The feeling of coming at them with raw hate is pretty______fun.
So what do you like or dislike about it?
The only part I don't go so well with (and this is a personal issue) is my reliance on the shotgun. I don't know if this is supposed to be intentional, but I've only really used the chainsaw once, the pistol for the first enemy type you encounter, and then the shotgun for the rest.
How do you enjoy playing a game all about fast movement, twitch aiming, and constant weapon switching on a console?
I can't imagine using the weapon wheel for this game.

It's great. I have platinum'd it already though and after you 100% it, it doesn't leave much else to do.
Snap map is pretty weak and multiplayer is ok.
If they tweaked the physics in multiplayer and made the bullet sponge characters go away, it might be more fun. Then again, it might just be a noob tube fest if they do that. I'm tied.
single player was superb, weapons are balanced, gameplay is clean and smooth. Secrets are fun to find.
I would say, if you find yourself with nothing to do after completing the campaign 100% the classic maps provide some extra play time.
Ultra Nightmare is ridiculous. I love it. Pretty fun to plan out my upgrade path, ignoring upgrading weapon mods until I can get the rocket remote detonation.
It sucks. It truly sucks.
At first I thought "hey, this may be just another hate wave, these professional reviews don't mean a thing". But no. The game is horrible in many, many ways.

The hate for MN9 is dumb. Evil, even. To be honest, people are being mean, tearing into it for no reason. Everyone needs to chill out.
Remember it didn't have a huge budget, that kind of money doesn't go far. How many kickstarter games even come out, and furthermore, how many are good? Next to none, I'll bet. Nobody cares about a few framerate issues. One or two delays? So what? Terrible art style? Totally subjective. Horrid voice acting? Nah.
I'm pretty damn satisfied with this game, nobody can tell me it's bad.

Overwatch is only huge because it's following the MOBA format, right? Can anyone explain any other appeal it has? I tried the beta and as an arena shooter it utterly fails. The gameplay is not fun at all
