It's not bad, it's better than some actual mega man games but it doesn't matter and it never will matter because people have chosen to make it the villain.
Why are all western games with gay characters overtly pro-gay in tone? Why can't they just have gay characters without any sense of judgement or approval from the game developers? Like, Garfield is a glutton. We all know that gluttony is a sin, and Garfield jokes about gluttony, but when you're watching or reading or playing Garfield stuff, we don't get the feeling the creators have a pro-gluttony agenda.

Because that's the Western tradition of "I need to use my own movie/video game/comic as a soapbox platform to champion whatever's popular with the young crowd in terms of politics so I can pull in a bigger unwanted and unneeded crowd for no real reason other than absolute profit" which leads to a gay being a character instead of a character being gay knowwutimsayin'?
Because in the West we tend to make the art more about the person making it and the presentation than the piece of art itself. All about drawing attention to yourself, good or bad.

Sort of both if the Alpha is a good representation.
You customize your helmet, shoulders, arms, body, etc. You couldn't adjust a loadout like I want x weapon with this ability, this ability, and this body. If that makes sense. Kind of a vague question but if you narrow it down I can taper my response.

I really don't know how this meme started. Sure it attracts normies but I wouldn't really call it casualised and I certainly wouldn't call it simple. I remember starting out years ago I had no idea what the fuck was going on and it took me a fair few games to figure out how AP/AD worked and get the hang of the main roles. Whenever I see DotA and League players discussing their respective games with each other I actually seriously see DotA players complaining like children about how most abilities in LoL are skillshots, as if they don't know how to fucking aim and lead targets.

It's one of the best games you will ever play, let alone the best visual novel you will EVER experience. Various professional video game websites have given a lot of praise on it's very unique artstyle with interesting personalities you encounter throughout the game.
It's probably going to win a few awards this year so I would purchase it.
It's an above average visual novel with a cyberpunk theme and a pretty rad soundtrack.
Feel free to pirate, but if you plan on buying it I recommend you wait for the price to drop a bit.
