I'm in the mood for an arena-style multiplayer game. One where you can just jump in and have fun and doesn't rely heavily on teamwork. I've been playing on some M&B napoleonic mod servers but it gets old quick. So far rocket league looks to be what I want but I'd appreciate some other recs. Thanks in advance. I already own l4d and all the half-life games.

I finished Digital Devil Saga (1) today.
It took me one hour and forty minuts to beat the final boss.
Shit wasn't hard but it was so goddamn boring (acrew the physical repel thing, seriously).

It's been 10 years /v/ and this still remains as the best video game opening of all time. Will Kingdom Hearts 3 opening top it? Also, if Utada isn't doing the theme for KH 3 then the game will be automatically shit. Not even up for debate.

So now with xbone games coming to pc whats the point of ever buying an xbox over a ps4?
If you can't afford a PC (inb4 you can buy a $299 PC) but want to play Halo/Gears/etc then you'd buy an Xbox One. Also, with cross-platform play, there will overall be more people playing online, so regardless of which platform you use, it's a good thing for gamers.
Having said that, you'd best wait for Scorpio. When that comes out, I dunno why you'd pick Neo.

I know many more moments from hl1, because I played it so often over dozens of years.
So I just finished Final Fantasy XIII-2. And I must say, to my surprise, it's a whole lot fucking better than XIII.

+Worlds are bigger and exploration is required (no more hallway simulator)
+Noel and Serah are way more likable characters than the entire FF XIII cast put together.
+Caius is a fantastic villain with a voice that just oozes sex.
+Actual character development
+A shit load of side content
+Amazingly catchy music (TIME AND SPACE TIME AND SPACE)
+Pokemon-like gameplay thrown into the mix

-Story is batshit insanely retarded and the ending is even more fucking stupid and made the entire game pretty much pointless
-The Time puzzle things are GOD FUCKING AWFUL. They were so tedious and really broke the momentum of the game. (Reminded me way too much of the Cloister of Trails in FF X)
-DLC out the ass (I know it's not necessary and you can play the game without it but if you want the FULL EXPERIENCE it's way too much shit to buy)
Overall, I give it a 7.5/10. A great improvement over XIII. Going to play Lightning Returns shortly. Hopefully it's just as good (I see /v/ circlejerks Lightning Returns a lot)
