Apparently we have reached a technological bottleneck.
The way games look today will only marginally improve over the years.
At the current moment its impossible t make processors faster then they already are.
In fact only way it seams this is possible is to just put more in to a single machine.
But this makes them more expensive and consume way more power.
In fact the only way to make games look and run better would be to literally have multiple computers working on a single game.
So its actually possible one day you will have a Motherboard that supports multiple Multi core CPUs.
We already have Sli and crossfire technology which is essentially Tiny computers dedicated to graphics working together on a single goal.
And whats funny it actually doesn't make games run at 2X the Speed which makes this choice not exactly economical.
So are we currently at the limit of how good games can look wo forcing Sli and multiple CPUs.

for a game to look better it will not only require more tech, it'll also require more man-hours, feel me? either you need the most amazing procedural algorithm or you need to make a small world or you need to be AAA+ and will probably still lose money

According to /v/, a bad game like Skyrim should have lost its appeal a long time ago. How come that isn't actually the case, and can someone explain this phenomenon? But more importantly, how come Witcher 3 doesn't have as good mod tools as Skyrim?
Witcher 3 fans even said the new DLC would save it
Both games are dumbed down console action games pretending to be RPGs, the only difference is that Skyrim actually allows you to completely ignore the terrible base game and do shit like play with those porn mods, while in Witcher you have no options.

Turns out the core gameplay was actually really hard to fuck up so it's still there. The community is full of retards and cosmetics are just ridiculous, though.

It's still the same game. Just lots of spastics and funny looking cosmetics. My experience in pubs has generally been that the team with few snipers and spies wins, unless they're in that 10% of spies/snipers who are so good that they dominate the whole game and make things no fun for everyone. Also lots of cheating snipers despite the VAC crackdown.
At it's core, the game is still the same as it was years ago. It's just that the cosmetics went crazy and the playerbase has shifted.
