Why the fuck are more and more games requiring you to read out of game content to explain backstory of the game and to explain the endings/aftermath of a game? Just have a fucking prologue and epilogue.

I bought the Mass Effect Retribution or whatever novel where they introduce Kai Leng and he breaks into Anderson's apartment, eats his cereal, and pisses in his flower vase.
I went to complain about how awful it was on the Bioware forums and people were actually defending it saying it made Kai a badass.

Now that the dust has settled, where does Bloodborne rank in the Soulsborne series?
Bloodborne > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls 1 > Demon Souls > Dark Souls 2
It's fantastic, my favorite game.
BB > DaS 1 > Nioh demo > DaS 3 > DeS > DaS 2 > Salt and Sanctuary > Getting hit by a car > Lords of the Fallen
Dark Souls 3 > Bloodborne > Dark Souls 2 > Dark Souls 1 > Demon Souls.
The things bloodborne does right it does amazingly well enough to put it at second place but it has some huge flaws that prevent it from taking the number one spot. Just of the top of my head:
-Chalice dungeons are a terrible idea and not fun to do at all, if it wasn't for them having some good bosses hidden in them I would have never bothered.
-RPG elements are really gutted compared to the main souls series, there is no real build variety. Everything plays like a ninja flipping dex fag in dark souls, even the ultra great sword equivalent swings really fast. There is no strategic variance in builds.
-The magic system sucks ass, tying it to items and making it use bullets was a bad idea.
-the gem system sucks compared to infusions, farming for them isn't fun and the top ranked ones are very overpowered
-Multiplayer is a step backwards, there are no interesting covenants to bring variety and the bells are strictly worse than summon signs both for coop and pvp.
-Performance is kind of bad, I know it's a PS4 exclusive so I've come to accept 30 fps but the loading times are completely unacceptable and there really shouldn't be so many framedrops in multiplayer
-The story. I'm okay with them being inspired by Lovecraft but the DLC is literally The Shadow over Innsmouth. There's a line between being inspired by and blatantly ripping off and I feel they crossed it there.

In Nintendo, every character has his own, EXCLUSIVE type of game.
We'll never get a Luigi's mansion with Mario, a Wario Ware with Toad, or a Mario & Luigi game with other RPG characters. Every character IS his role.
They need to invent some shit like Waluigi's snakes and ladders or Waluigi's Bear Hunting. We won't see them just slap his name on some old style of game.

Mario Galaxy and Mario Galaxy 2 are linear, easy puzzle games for young children.

Have some independent thought for once and see how mediocre these games are.
