From the sound of it Bill and The Doctor meet investigating the same thing. Moffat's definitely been rewatching Series 4.
Something I need to get off my chest.
I have come to hate what Doctor Who has become at this point. It's obviously been spiraling downwards for the last few seasons which is sad because I honestly love Peter Capaldi's Doctor. But the writing and decisions being made behind the scenes are so god damn retarded it hurts.
I could go on about the bad writing for ages, but I'm sure you've heard it all before. The thing that really pushed me over the edge was the casting decision in Season 10, specifically Pearl Mackie. When that first clip was shown of the Doctor and his new companion Bill my first thought was "she was clearly hired based on race" because let's face it, it certainly can't of been her piss poor acting alone. And wouldn't you know it I was right. Moffat without shame basically just admitted that Bill is there for "more diversity".
Suffice to say Doctor Who has gone fully down the SJW shit shaft. I have been watching this show since I was nine years old and it's just depressing to see it end up like this.

To me there was a clear turning point in Doctor Who, and unlike most I'm not going to say it turned after a specific season, or when Moffat took over from Davis. To me it was when Doctor Who went from being a "family Saturday evening" show, to one of these "nerd culture" shows.
Nerd culture has destroyed Doctor Who. Yes it's always had a nerd following, it's a sci-fi show it's to be expected. But when it became self aware and started pandering (not even to nerds in general but to this vary specific type of tumblr feminist nerd), that is when the show went down the sjw shitter for good.
