Jon charging alone, unsheating his sword and getting ready to be slaughtered only for his cavalry to charge in at the exact moment was a really powerfull scene. The whole battle got me shaking with excitement, to be honest.
I was really on the edge during the whole thing, it was beautifully done for a TV show.
The fact that I was really afraid that Ghost might pop out of nowhere only to save Jon and be killed might be part of that.
But the clash of the cavalries, damn, I almost broke my leg.

Almost everything about how the battle was written was bad, from ramsays arrow trick to jon charging to his plot armor and the corpse hill and the phalanx, it was all crap.
What it did do right was the directing and the shots, absolutely gorgeous. You really got a feeling for how fucked up pre gunpowder battles were, from being caught in a charge to all the random slaughter to being trampled to death in the mud, it was all perfect as far as I'm concerned.
