Ramsay is by far the most poorly written character in the entire show. There's no grey area, he's just a pure psychopath who gets everything he wants until his death.
Gets away with rape, gets away with murder, torturing Theon, gets away with murdering his father, a legitimate lord, with no backlash whatsoever. If anyone is a Mary Sue in this show, it's fucking Ramsay.

His prowess with a sword in season 1 stemmed from the fact that he was raised with nobles, so fighting against people who literally had no idea how to fight was easy as fuck for him.
