My biggest gripe was the literal wall of corpses and everyone going full retard in front of phalanx. Those things didn't make much sense and were there just to make the battle more tense.
They could have just simply shown Jon's forces getting outnumbered and beaten or thought of some other, interesting way to give tension instead of something so unrealistic.
Still, that's a minor gripe, really liked the episode, a lot of tension all the way until the very end.
