actually, the first Bourne film doesn't use that much handheld. it didn't become prevalent until Paul Greengrass took over in the second installment. the way he uses it is still much better than almost anyone else in Hollywood. it's the awful gun-for-hire directors that tried to rip off his technique that ruined handheld for everyone.
