George was planning it ever since the first novel, I was told that it was too weird to have Jon fuck Arya as she was too young but George purposely left out Jon and Sansa parts because he wanted them to fall in love with each other late in the story. So at the end of this season we of course get Battle of the Bastards in episode 9. Basically what happens isJon beats the fuck out of Ramsay after Ramsay kills Wun Wun, Jon stops because Sansa is there and he doesn't want to disturb herand that's when it starts. D&D were planning it ever since the first season, I was told that it was too weird to give Renly a crown and not have him come back so D&D purposely left out the Lady Stoneheart parts because they wanted to revive Renly instead late in the story. So at the end of this season we of course get the return of the Brotherhood Without Banners in episode 8. Basically what happens is they find Renly's grave, Thoros stops because Beric is there and he doesn't want to disturb him and that's when it starts.
