Some people dick on season 7 onwards but I think the show has stayed consistently pretty damn amazing. Season 11 has been the first truly 'weak' season of the show, and even then it's still better than a majority of American comedy (and pretty much all recent British comedy - when the hell did we get so shit? Early 2010s?).
I think Season 11 being weaker than usual will be a small blip on the radar though, a lot of factors went into it not being as great as the other seasons
>Too many polarizing gimmick episodes, if more than a third of a season is gimmick episodes without the bar then something's up
>Rob McElhenney is probably pretty damn busy with directing the Minecraft movie
>The main three writers wrote way less of the episode ideas this season

Plus, I think Season 11 seems worse than it is because of its airing order. I think they did a real shitty job by starting the season off with two rehash episodes and then an 80s movie parody episode. Because they aired the weaker episodes of the season all in one block right at the beginning, it left a sour taste
But yeah, roll on next season I say. They're signed on until a Season 14 so unless DeVito croaks, we've got a lot of good times ahead of us
