Starks have been set up as the underdogs every since neds head got chopped of.
there really lacks something in most of the scenes / arcs. I only find arya's arc somewhat enjoyable. Not that Jon's arc isn't interesting on paper, but it feels like they're just trying to get it out of the way for the more interesting part. Only problem with that is that there's only 12 episodes a season. Jon's awakening was just awkward, it should have been a very powerful moment but for obvious pacing reasons they couldn't spend too much time on it.
