Everyone is constantly saying exactly what they're thinking. They spell every little bit of information out bit by bit.
Every character is monologuing to themselves, then they recieve a monologue in reply. There's no combining in the speech and discussion, just my turn to give a spiel, your turn to give a spiel.
Jon could've been mysterious as fuck about coming back to life. Not said much at all, just slowly gotten everything back together. Mel comes straight over and starts talking prophecy to obviously remind the audience why she cares in the first place, as if she would possibly need to say any of that information about Stannis out loud.

Ned and Howland might have been the only survivors who were actually there, but it's not like people are clueless as to what happened in broad strokes. By virtue of Dayne dying and Ned surviving, people connected the dots that Ned killed him and the story grew from there.
