Yes, it would, because magic reviving the dead hangs within the realm of suspension of disbelief. Like Clegane, it's more believable, as there are limitations and it can't fix everything.
But Jon is simply revived, he's completely brought back as he was before. Which brings up a question of how, since the magic's simple ability to revive is grown to completely negate any sort of death. There's no limitation, and so suspension of disbelief doesn't apply. If magic is so powerful, why even be scared of death? Why not create an alternate dimension from which you can pop up behind your enemies and kill them within harms reach? Why isn't a magic user or users like the Red Lady in charge of the entire kingdom and lands?

They seem lost even with the books considering season 3 -> now. One does not simply cut 500 pages into 10 episodes then attempt to cram 1100 pages into 10 episodes and expect to keep thing coherent. The plotting and kill a thons are off the scale. No underling gives even a tiny bit of a fuck about what's going on with the lords above. In some ways that's nice the lords play their game but there's still meant to be tens of thousands loyal and basically forced into warfare.
And there's still riverlands civil war, dorne civil war, horsecunts, mareen vs viccy/euron, watch vs nights king and now nights watch vs bolton. Time time scales for this shit in the books are months or years apart. EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING TOO FAST.
