The chad is said to be the rightful heir of the Vale after Robert, now why is Harry taking the offer of marrying himself to a bastard is unknown, either he doesn't know his own political value and is following orders from his liege lord (that seems to been bought by Littlefinger and his plan of buying the debt of most of the Vale families) or he knows the real identity of Sansa.
Anyhow the idea is that with that marriage Littlefinger will get legitimate control over the Vale by controlling Sansa, though personally I still don't understand the exchange mostly because even if the Royce and other Vale houses are against him he still has Robert in his power.

There is a theory that basically goes that he will have Harry marry Sansa and then get sweet Robin to one of the pedophiles lords of the Vale and then blame Harry for it. Which then will make Sansa the ruler of the Vale though a fake identity (and legitimized by the Iron Throne) and with that Sansa and Littlefinger will actually have control over the vale. The problem will be what the hell will impede Sansa to basically turn against Littlefinger if she is the one that will be the Lady of the Vale in that scenario.
His real plan should be something that would lead LF hold the power and not holding the power by proxy but I can't imagine a situation where LF ended up with the power of the Vale on his hands no matter how he gets Harry and sweet Robin out of the way.

I think this is a good theory, i've read some of Gurm's other stuff, and the ending isn't always "satisfying", at least on the surface level.

As much as I hate the forced stronk women in the show, Sneks, Daenerys, Brienne(sometimes), I honestly don't mind Sansa or Sophie Turner. I actually think she's one of the better characters on the show, and while it would be weird if she just became the queen of the north in the space of a few episodes, it wouldn't exactly be a first for the show. Pretty much everything feels less spontaneous in the show and more like it happens all of a sudden in a fairly unrealistic manner, this would just be another example.
