I understand what this guy is saying and had a similar thought while watching. In the books, she gains new skills while she trains. She learns to fight without her eyes, she practices that stuff, it makes sense that when she (inevitably) leaves the FM she will be a much better fighter.
In the show, she just swings a stick around an then Jaqen is like, "Hey girl, let's go do something else." She hasn't really progressed in any way, just had a bunch of things happen to her - kind of like what people criticized Sansa for last season.
It's bad writing and it's a shame because GRRM literally did the writing for them and they just had to adapt it. Very clumsy.
