Why did so many people miss the point of the First Order? If you complain that they weren't "badass" enough, you didn't get it. The whole deal with the First Order is that they're a bunch of fucking losers, the children of the Empire's rejects pretending they're the big bad Empire so they can feel better about themselves

I thought they were fucking great villains. After the prequels and EU tried to make the dark side look glamorous, a bunch of villains who are weak and impotent people, only dangerous because they have huge fucking guns, was a nice change of pace. The Dark Side was never meant to be reasonable or "badass" like Darth Maul made you believe.
