Is there a better alien invasion film then this? Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum at their best, special effects that still look great today, and a kickass score to boot.
I've already pre-ordered the 20th anniversary blu-ray. The second movie looks like it's gonna be decent as well, although it sucks that Will Smith isn't going to be in it.
the thing
it is a very delayed alien invasion though

They live
Unfortunately I think its going to be mediocre. They're already tainting the first one by giving will smith such a stupid and unnecessary death. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like its going to be one of those sequels that people pretend aren't a part of the franchise. Only Chef Goldblum can save it
Why does literally every series decline in quality over time? Are there any that have maintained their quality all the way through?
I mean I can understand writers running out of ideas, but it's more than that. The plots, characters and writing seem to devolve into mush.
Pic pretty related. Started off great and is now complete shit
This fits your trend, but it's always sunny just aired it's 11th season and had one of the funniest episodes of all time in it

star trek: deep space nine
perfect from s1 to s7
Sopranos and The Wire remained quality for the most part, a few dumb subplots here and there but never went to complete shit.
Are there any movies where humanity is at the bleeding edge of extinction? Like there's a palpable sense of inevitable dread? Not like a disaster movie where the major cataclysm is avoided but a movie where there are only a few people left and they're barely hanging on.

Oblivion
The road
Book of eli
any adaptation of I Am Legend
ADAPT to THIS
He should have been able to.
Comics Darwin adapted to crazier shit.
This was one of the dumbest sequences in this shit-directed movie.
>character's power is literally not dying
>dies
It was such a dramatic death for a character we barely knew. The emotional impact was lost, and was exacerabated by the fact that I was confused as to how he could die give his fucking superpower.
Someone should edit kevin bacon shoving a job application into his mouth but keep the same caption
Is The Big Bang Theory sitkino?
Because it feels like plebs don't understand its complexity and smartness

We want the 9gag audience
This movie is amazing, my favorite parts are Hanover Fist and Taarna.
Post favorite parts and hope we get a good sequel.
There is a sequel.
Your mileage may vary.
Hope the rumors are true about next movie.
Is Heavy Metal 2000 worth watching?
That fucking zombie bomber pilot story fucked my shit all up, clan
Why are they fighting?
why not
the jews told them to

Because.
What went wrong?
Not enough /ss/.
Budget $150 million[2][3]
Box office $1.670 billion
The lack of animatronics really killed the realism for me, not to mention the CGI sucked.
I still enjoyed it though.
>Bee Movie
>Borat
>HP: Sorcerer's Stone
>Nacho Libre
>Fellowship of the Ring

Dude
Hey /tv/ you guys have given me great advice with my analyses - sound more excited, just get to the point without a long intro. This is my newest one and I'm curious what you guys think. I waited a week so I didn't spoil anything. Thanks as always.

shameless self-shill
I'll give your vid a view though, since I'm kind of curious how big of a trainwreck TWD has become since I dropped it in season 3
>>68917640
I always trust the advice from this board so I just want to know what I can do better. It's a bit of a shameless post, but I appreciate you checking it out.
Literally something finally happened: the show
>Haha, why is she so perfect, bros?;_;
So is this gonna be better than the nearly complete shitshow of filler that was s2?
The ending for last season was great. Rona and Dorian dancing in white while bleeding all over the place was spooky. Plus there's always the off chance that Eva will take her clothes off.
But barring Eva tuts and sloppiness, I watch it for Based TDalt.
I could watch a nasty dirty smelly Eva drink milk & eat bread all day.

>The ending for last season was great.
There were maybe three good episodes, including the finale, but overall it was suck a bland experience.
>TDalt
I cannot wait until Malcolm and Vanessa get some more screentime.

Oh, wait.
How do y'all feel about Dr. Jekyll?
Is this Christ-Kino?
I feel sorry for Muslims, they can't see their great prophet in any film and he did shit even if atheists want to pretend he isn't real since their campaign to say Jesus was never real failed.
JESUS WAS PERFECT HE NEVVER SINNED
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>68917236
too homoerotic and "jesus was secretly a neo-liberal atheist" for me. Nice concept album art though
Anyone else get chills during this scene?
absolutely not.
"muh bikes"
No you faggot. The only time I got chills during that movie was when Conlan came out. NIGGA DON'T WASTE MY TIME! NO NO NO NO! Fucking GOAT intro song.
Nah, his post-fight interview was better
>I know you didn't leave me on purpose
