>Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 50-year-old star of both the big and small screens explained how the calibre of the psychological horror series has raised the bar too high for him to consider further TV work.

>Although, he admitted he would consider another project, as long as it is of the same quality.

>"It's hard to go back to TV when you've done something as complete as Hannibal," he said. "It was everything I could dream of in a role. I'm going back to film until something as radical comes up, which may very well be more Hannibal."

Once you work in film, going back to tv hurts your career more than helps it. It makes sense that it would take a legitimate attempt at tv "kino" to make him come back to it.

HUGE HUMONGOUS SPOILER AHEAD

In that scene where Cap says he knew about Bucky killing Tony's parent, did he actually know about it or was it just a way for Tony to split the blame between them?
29 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
>>68947752
I've only seen it the once, I'm definitely going to see it again. But for some reason I felt the movie implied Bucky told Cap about it when Cap and Falcon had Bucky captured in that huge vice thing, though I could be wrong.
>>
>>68947752
It was implied by Zola and then probably confirmed in the file that Widow gave him at the end of TWS, so I assume he knew all along.

I do think he probably should have told Tony at some point prior so it didn't turn out the way it did, but he was trying to keep the hunt for Bucky secret and when really is a good time to bring something like that up.

>A reading from the Acts of Man of Steel
>Scene 2:13: Selected passages

>3 And I heard a loud voice from the cinema saying, "Look! Snyder's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and Snyder himself will be with them and be their saviour.

>4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more repetitive or safe or cheap comedy or quips, for the old order of Marvel movies has passed away."

>13 And so they hated him, and persecuted him. The critics crucified him and threw rotten tomatoes at him.

>14 But he persevered and gained strength from the audience, and so we will persevere.

>15 And he stands by the right side of the spirit of Kino, and draws inspiration from it, and so will his followers.

>22 During the filming of the port battle at Batman v Superman, Snyder was found wandering along the port.

>23 In one of such instances he walked on water while carrying an IMAX camera on one hand, which greatly terrified his cast and crew at that time.

>24 Affleck, out of fear, shouted "Snyder, if it is you, tell me to come to the water!"

>25 "Come". Snyder said.

>26 Affleck stepped on the water and walked for a few feet but then sank. He cried out "Snyder, hast thou forsaken me? Save me, oh dear brother!"

>27 Immediately Snyder reached out his hand and caught him.

>28 Snyder exclaimed, "Bin Muhammad Afflecki, why did you doubt?"

>29 And so the heretic one vowed to spread the word.

Ben Affleck is best Batman. They did a great job showing why he was pissed at Supes.

If you want action, watch Segal or Capekino, you want to watch a movie that people didn't really love in theater but was the landmark film for Sci-Fi, 2001 a space odyssey.

Frankly I am not a HUGH fan of kubrick, but like all of his films, it has determined scenes, and framing.

Meaning, and such.

The 3 books are really some of the coolest sci-fi , written by Arthur C. Clarke himself.

His books on space travel usually included chapters about other aspects of science and technology, such as computers and bioengineering. He predicted telecommunication satellites (albeit serviced by astronauts in space suits, who would replace the satellite's vacuum tubes as they burned out).
>>
>>68947347

Clarke contributed to the popularity of the idea that geostationary satellites would be ideal telecommunications relays. He first described this in a letter to the editor of Wireless World in February 1945 and elaborated on this concept in a paper titled Extra-Terrestrial Relays – Can Rocket Stations Give Worldwide Radio Coverage?, published in Wireless World in October 1945. The geostationary orbit is now sometimes known as the Clarke Orbit or the Clarke Belt in his honour.

History_of_violence.jpg

Prompted by this thread >>68927292 I decided to watch "A History of Violence" [2005], by David Cronenberg.
I went into it having never seen a Cronenberg film before, not knowing anything about him other than that he's supposed to be a great director and not knowing anything at all about the film either. I watched it with a friend.
I assumed at first that it would be a drama, but as the movie went on we both felt like we were watching a bad horror movie. All the characters felt like tropey caricatures, the dialogue was cheesy, it just all felt like parody. But we both guessed that there must've been some reason for it, we were waiting for the punchline. It never came.
Towards the end we were just laughing at the ridiculously choreographed action (which was pretty terrible in the diner scene as well to be fair, but not as overtly bad).
This felt like a straight to dvd movie, why does it get any praise?
Is it just a film that didn't age very well?

The pacing was all over the place as well, after Joey's admission we were just wondering how the film would fix itself in the remaining 20 minutes. It was just more ridiculous.
At least it was only 90 minutes.

Because you are incapable of picking up on the subtleties of violence in tense situations.

If you had ever been in a fight, youd know what Im talking about.

All the talking, the dancing around with words, until suddenly someone just goes.
