nope. women like her don't last.
Marylin Monroe was a mistake.
From around the late 70's to the late 90's or so, New York city was so heavily used in TV shows and movies that a lot of the time it was almost a 'character' itself.
But I can't really think of many recent examples where NYC was important to a movie or shows feel as it used to be.
Why is that /tv/?
Broad City features actual new york locations. Pretty sure they do the same in girls but i've never watched it.
NYC became a place for the wealthy and ground zero of gentrification. It lost it's soul.

Critics basing the movie off of World of Warcraft and making their comparisons to Citizen's Kane.

There's this Baltimore comedian I met in NYC called Nick Mullen, he's the funniest guy I've ever met - he had a troll blog on thought catalogue under the name Nicole Mullen where "her" bio was "Just a fun mom and a teacher at a retarded school. I like recipes and my kids." and he'd write outrageously un-PC columns.
Anyway, he's hilarious and his twitter is great and he recently started a podcast called Cum Town (I swear to god) and it's getting really popular....

It looks stupid, but in that fun way a 12 year old should love. They don't make dumb kids films like this much anymore. Kind of neat to see this in a way.
Also Jane Levy is alive, that's neat.
>>70329241
Exactly what I thought.
It's a great stupid movie for younger people.
Love the concept.
Kids need movies like this, not just Disney channel garbage
jesus christ that's stupid even for a kids movie
