I like Flash and Daredevil, was thinking of giving this a try. Five years ago I never gave a shit if a show was a female lead but feminism has taught me to be skeptical. I saw one episode of Supergirl and it was basically her battling against the Patriarchy. Other female lead shows/movies are full of Mary Sues without any weaknesses.
Is JJ like that? Is this just more feminist propaganda about how men are evil and we need more strong women, or is it actually a good show?

No. You can maybe start with it but eventually you'll move on to a camera that at least has a stabilizer and much more options when it comes to lighting and lenses.

Don't quote me on that since I never used a Mac before but I think they have a video editor called Final Cut or something before that's supposedly alright for what it is.
Other than that Premiere and Vegas are the industry standards. There are a couple of programs that can further decrease filesize by optimizing the output file after the initial rendering as well.
I understand its difficult to enjoy a film when the audience is talking on their phones, or making fun of the movie or something; but talking is not necessarily a detriment.
Yeah, watching the hero get revenge by shooting a guy's jaw off is good, but it becomes great when a 290 pound Jamaican responds to that scene by saying "talk shit now, muddafucka!!"
As someone who went to school with a lot of poor black people, them expressing incredulity and empathy with whats going on on-screen really makes the movie feel much more immersive and affective.

A group of college students decide to make a documentary about orthodox black metal bands.
They try to interview one of the more underground acts, but their requests are declined. They get nosey, try to get some footage, and end up sacrificed during a satanic ritual.
It's NOT found-footage, it's fairly low-budget, and the main gimmick is that the film quality imperceptibly degrades over the course of the movie until the last few scenes are shot in grimy black and white like in Begotten with no voices on top, and the movie ends on a mess of damaged film and subliminal edits of spooky and abstract shit.
