I don't spend a lot of time in the Meadowlands, but it has some breathtaking views if you know where to look. Pic related is a path that branches off the High Road.
Assuming you make it to civilization, there is at least one place with really good coffee and comfort food. I don't remember the name, but I was pretty shocked that someplace so touristy could knock it out of the park. Also it's eternally crowded, and really noisy.
Kind of a double edged sword, if you're hungover.

At least the air is fresh, and the sky is clear. Even if there isn't much here, it's beautiful. Definitely needed the relaxing peace and quiet after that fiasco in the RFD.
Oh, and I grabbed some tea at a roadside beverage shop, apparently it has sweet grass in it, I think the barista said. It's pretty good. If anyone heads to the Meadowlands, I recommend checking it out, it's called the Ewe 'n' Brew, about a quarter mile-ish outside Haymarket.
