GMK godzilla is out in japan

I don't have any of these Destroyah figures. Is this actually something new/expect a new release, or just display-only?
>>5758267
IIRC it's for an event in japan
>>5758276
So display?
>>5758278
Yea, it's all for an expo in fukuoka
>>5758281
Ah, thanks.
I'd love a SHMA Destoryah reissue or something...
>>5758291
Why? The damn thing is brittle as fuck. The wings already broken on mine. I sold the fuck out of it when the price mark ups began and made some profit off a broken SHMA.
>>5758414
>Why?
Gee I don't know? Because I want a Destroyer figure perhaps! Why do you think?
>>5758426
Now you're just making me sound like a cunt.
That said, yeah I still want a Destroyah figure >>5758414. Maybe they can retool it a la King Ghidorah, since it'll probably be some exclusive release next time.
WHEN DAMMIT?
>>5758435
Probably never if the '54 doesn't sell well. SHMA is catered to millenials who grew up during the Heisei/Millenium era. I'd like anything other than another Godzilla.
>>5758454
I don't like this, anon.
If I bought Godzilla 2000 and didn't like it (sculpt and paint were amazing but I just found it to be a really fiddly, unsatisfying, sometimes frustrating figure to like actually pose or play with or really do anything with) will I like any of the newer figures or are they pretty similar to 2000? I ask mostly cause GMK is one of my favorite designs.
Looks decent, wish there was some reasonable way to buy him as a Canadian.
>>5758612
that's fucking terrifying.
Bandai Movie Monster Series re-releases + Kaijuoh Series 280mm Shin Godzilla by Bandai.
Shin Godzilla resin cast by Yuji Sakai.
>>5758612
Can you imagine not paying attention for a second and suddenly you see this? I'd shit my pants.
>>5758548
It doesn't look like he should, he has moving parts around the chest and midsection.
>>5758612
>and this is my strong hand
Seriously what is up with that thing
>>5758548
This is my biggest fear, no one seems to stand him straight up on these reviews. Either they don't want to or they can't
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4DZtS8hENE4
What's my best option for a Kamacuras figure right now?
>collecting SH Monsterarts right now
>>5758941
He seems like he could go perfectly straight with his one swimming promo picture.
Also, wasn't GMK Godzilla the biggest Godzilla at the time?
>>5758694
You know we have these things called Monsterarts and NECA now, right?
it's not 2004 anymore, you don't have to settle for doggy chew toys.
>>5758949
In the movie he is 60 meters. Godzilla has previously been 50, 55, 80, and 100 meters tall at the time
>>5758949
you're thinking of tallest suit at the time
>>5758988
We have to wait for S.H.HumanArts to exploit the full range of his posebility
Just ordered GMK Godzilla. Been awhile since I've been excited for a figure.
>>5758824
>we're not doing this in every thread
We sure are, autismo!
>>5759073
How long has it been since you've been disappointed in one too?
>>5759125
I've never been disappointed in a figure, especially Kaiju ones.
>>5758276
>>5758281
>>5758891
Good looking sculpt other than being hunchbacked. Largest Godzilla so far I think too.
On the downside it looks like they skimped on painting his body again. Maybe it's just the pics but I'm seeing next to no shading and mostly just dark grey plastic.
Also expensive as fuck.
>>5759150
There are a few websites that have it on order from 65 to 70 bucks.
>>5759156
I doubt it would help me since I'm Canadian and most American webstores charge $25+ for shipping, but which ones?
>>5759160
https://www.animepoko.com/

The rest of the sites have him go for 75 and above, but these 2 have pretty good prices.

You will be. You will be.
>>5759189
I will love and cherish this fat piece of shit Godzilla just to spite you anon!

Can't Wake Up.PNG
>>5758504
>but I just found it to be a really fiddly, unsatisfying, sometimes frustrating figure to like actually pose or play with or really do anything with
How so?
Also, due to the design in general, Godzillas aren't the most exciting to pose in comparison to any humanoid figure.
>>5758876
Your hands would be pretty shriveled too if you just survived a fucking nuke going off on your fucking head.

>>5758876
Go search up "Hiro Ouchi" and the Tokaimura nuclear accident/experimentation.
Your flesh literally falls off from severe radiation damage.
>>5758876
To answer the question of "how it's like that", presumably he got nuked and he's regenerating throughout the film.
Unless anno throws a massive curveball, but that's the implication. That wasn't from that fake "leaked story", but an inference
>>5759114
I'm autistic for pointing out that Banpresto statues are against rule 2?
I don't get it, nobody here cares, it's not the topic of thread, so why people continue to post vinyls when the interest lie in articulated figures is beyond me. It spams the thread for merchandise nobody here is going to buy nor discuss.
There's plenty of other websites on the internet that care about those dog chew toys like the other anon said.
>>5759460
Not him, but what's the deal against vinyl figs? They still are articulated, and it's not like there is a hell of a lot of stuff going on with SHMA at the moment until GMK drops for the rest of the world
In general there seems to be dry spells here between shma announces, and other figure posts here don't just do one line. I can understand no x plus or models, but I figured stuff liek the new bandai vinyls woudk be okay
>>5759460
>it's not the topic of thread
Kaiju General.
>>5759474
The Banpresto vinyl figure has no articulation.
As far as my vendetta against vinyl? It's a bygone era of shittiness. NOBODY here should be buying vinyls now that Monsterarts (and to a lesser extent, NECA) exist, among other articulated lines such as revoltech. What are you getting from these new vinyl release, a Shin Godzilla that's already in production for Monstetrarts, and a rerelease for G2K and Kiryu that you can already get superior versions of?
Vinyl don't bring the same range of movement nor detail as Monsterarts, and the market itself has been fluctuated by a circle of importers since the birth of the Western fandom, as if the demand for mass produced children's shelf toys you can find in Japanese garage sale bins is really x5 above the MSRP they once were.
People cling to that dumbass shit 10 years later like they have no vision or standards, drives me nuts. They'll always be associated with faggotry in my eyes and Monsterarts gave birth to a new following of Kaiju collecting that's sem-normal and less grody.
>>5759474
I want this.
Why do I want this?
>>5759305
I'm not looking to like convince you to understand why I didn't like it or like go into detail about it. I assume that unlike me, people in this thread do generally like Monsterarts, which is fine and is why I'm asking you.
I'm just asking if newer figures are still mostly similar to Godzilla 2000 as far as how the engineering and articulation works in case maybe they changed things up a bit, because with Bandai's other lines sometimes they'll go through big design changes and suddenly be way better. Figuarts, SIC, Robot Damashii have all done that at different points so I'm just like double checking whether if I didn't like G 2000 I will most likely still not like this line, or if that figure isn't representative of what the newer figures are like.
>>5759624
>I'm not looking to like convince you to understand why I didn't like it or like go into detail about i
Are you getting defensive?
I'm just asking for clarification on what you mean so I can actually address your question better.
>I'm just asking if newer figures are still mostly similar to Godzilla 2000 as far as how the engineering and articulation works in case maybe they changed things up a bit...
See? I can't answer this because I don't understand what problems you had with G2K.
Is it because the lack of poseability of the tail (as in it cannot stand upright)? Is it because of the hindered torso articulation on the G2K? Is it because it's overall not that poseable due to design? What exactly aren't you satisfied about it?
You're not helping me.
>>5759474
I'll have fun messing with his baby arms.
I wish Trump would make Bandai great again.
No one remember 2007 Godzilla.
>>5759696
The fuck is that?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi7YU42TQn4
>>5759696
That's gotta be a creative take on it, I had no idea the Always 2'zilla was so bulky. He looked really skinny.
>>5759704
oh that sunshine movie. Right.
Looks weird from the toy angle.
>>5759704
Was that fucker going super saiyan to fight Godzilla over a fucking ramen shop?
>>5759696
He definitely inherited his feet from GMK
>>5759704
The cgi for godzilla looks surprisingly pretty good, it's not pacific rim/g14 level, but it's pretty alright for something from 2007
>Shin Goji has such tiny arms!
>he looks like a cooked burger
Godzilla's always had tiny arms and looked like a burger.
>>5759730
While their arms are stubby, I think people are talking about Shin Goji's arms being thin and bony.
>>5759730
>Godzilla's always had tiny arms
He actually hasn't, he always had normal sized arm because he was based around the human form.
>he's always looked like a burger
What. He's skin has always had the texture of either an elephant, crocodile, or some reptilian form
I get your trying to defend what they're doing for this version, and that's okay, but don't just blatantly say things that aren't true
>>5759745
Having a bomb dropped on you filled with nukes, you tend to get bony, shriveled arms.
You know who else had tiny arms?
>>5759748
Again, I'm not arguing about the new design, I'm arguing about your justification having faulty ground
>>5759753
I'm just saying, Godzilla was supposed to have tiny twig arms before. He was based on a fucking T-rex. But they had to incorporate the suit actor arms cause they wanted Godzilla to lift a bridge.
>>5759744
Shin Goji also has different proportions, which makes the tiny arms look even more tiny.
>>5758694
You are late as fuck.
>>5759755
Actually, godzilla was always intended to have arms bigger than a tyrannosaurus. He was designed with T. Rex body and face, iguanadon arms and some body parts, and stegosaurus plates/spines
Most people who actually followsed this movie pretty much know or at least can make an educated guess that his arms are small because he's damaged or regenerating. People an still have problems with it even if the creators of this one have a reason behind it
Nolan designed his second batman suit to be based around tactical armor, that doesn't stop people from disliking it because of the appearance of a long neck and the head, and they have a right to
>>5759755
>I'm just saying, Godzilla was supposed to have tiny twig arms before.
Not true, the first instance of Godzilla's design visualized was a combined mix of Tyranosaurus and Iguanadon with longer arms as you can see here (so in this case it's only half true)
>>5759773
Off topic, but I remember in one of those documentaries that the orginal godzilla script was turned into a novel. Is it available or is it one of those rare as hell out of print deals?
>>5759781
Ask Sean Linkenback.
Godzillasaurus had tiny as fuck arms.
>>5759804
That's because he didn't go to the gym. The bomb made him buff.
>>5759804
Some of these godzilla products are really something
Wow! What is the was of that now we can all hear for the kaiju please.
I found the tiniest Godzilla figure in an airport like 17 years ago. It was almost less than an inch. Anyone knows where it's from?
>>5759870
Post a picture. It maybe from the lil Godzilla finger puppets Bandai used to put out.
>>5758612
>Hey, you shut up'a!
>>5759846
I can't believe Godzilla raped a baby.
>>5759874
It's tiny, I just found it on the floor.
>>5759904
That's fucking adorable.
>>5759904
Oh, looks like it could be Trendmaster's.
Orga doesn't get enough love.
He's one of my favorite baddies.
>>5759919
Yeah, check ClubTokyo.org to see.
>>5759926
The lack of Orga and Monster X figures sadden me.
>>5759904
A long time ago, I think in the 90s either around destroyah or godzilla 2000, they sold mini sets of kaiju that had minimal paint like that
Idk what they are called though
>>5759904
Trendmasters released these Godzilla things that were like Polly Pockets
My guess it's from one of those
>>5760194
Shit was great.
Didn't they have a Rodan one too? I remember owning a Rodan.
>>5760205
Yeah, it had a zipline on it so Rodan could do a diving attack. Shit was so cash.
>>5760194
Holy shit that is awesome
>>5760194
Fuck the Trendmasters Godzilla line was a godsend to me as a little kid. I hated not having any godzilla toys.
>>5760194
Fffffuck I wish I hadn't sold off my Trend masters fogures. They were really fun toys when I was younger. I had just about everyone, too.
>>5760227
*figures.
Fuck.
But yeah, I remember seeing the Biollante at a Toys r Us once, and this was when we didn't have a tru nearby, so this was a huge deal. I couldn't buy it...never saw them thereafter.
I remember Kmart being loaded with Trendmasters too, all the 12" and stuff.
The Polly pocket one is going for 79 bucks
>>5758548
>>5758882
>>5758941
>>5759150
Does nobody understand GMK was designed specifically to be hunched? He was originally supposed to be hunched over (like zilla sorta), but walking in the suit like that was too big of a strain on the actor's back, so they used a more upright posture while filming. Thats why the suit has all those odd wrinkles/folds in it.
>>5760241
Not exactly
The suit was meant to lean forward and have godzilla walk parallel to the ground. That's why his feet are so big, they built up at the heel to try and tip the suit forward, but laws of physics happened and he ended up straight standing
>>5760241
Lol it was hilarious seeing all those floppy things while godzilla was in a battle
>>5760236
I remember when I used to say "gohksilla" when I was a tiny creature. I would've slapped the shit out of me
>>5760253
I used to run around shouting "AAARRROOOO" to imitate Big G.
I'd slap little me and scream "It's pronounced SKREEONK you little bitch! Also you're gay as fuck!"
>>5760236
Same!
I wondered why they did Mechagodzilla "wrong" and why there was a Mecha King Ghidorah...and who the hell was Battra? I loved the toys all the same. Then I got to play Super Godzilla and that further opened my eyes.
>>5760236
>>5760232
>>5760225

>>5760266

>>5760293

Sasuga Japan.
>>5760446
Wtf is this real?
>every time i see new godzilla I cant stop thinking about this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHHB00Nu3Ak
>>5759649
Joint range was really limited so it felt like there was pretty much like one or two poses I could get it in that even looked good, but some of the joints were so floppy that it couldn't even hold a pose, and every time I tried to do anything with it parts liked to just kind of fall off. It had like a billion joints and still seemed like I could do basically nothing with it so to me it was kind of just a complete failure as an articulated figure, even though it looked really nice.
So I guess my question is how much of that can I still expect from newer figures in the line?
>>5759928
>MonsterArts never ever
with GMK out, All I need now is Orga to have all my favorite godzilla baddies
Never got Ghidorah because apparently the wings snapped if you looked at them, was this ever fixed with the special color version or whatever it's called?
>>5760629
>Joint range was really limited so it felt like there was pretty much like one or two poses I could get it in that even looked good
Sounds about right. Some SHMAs are more poseable than others, but in the end there's only so much you can do with a bulky creature.
Rebirth, Kiryu, and 2014 comes to mind on a more poseable SHMA, if you're interested in that. G2K is more limited in sculpt due to design (cannot look up, cannot move its torso that much..)
>but some of the joints were so floppy that it couldn't even hold a pose...
You've either got a defected one (they're all on ball-joints, so you can just tighten them up easily if you have to), or you're describing G2K's tail.
And in that case, yeah G2K can't lift its tail. Most can.
>So I guess my question is how much of that can I still expect from newer figures in the line?
All depends on the release. Go watch a review before you buy any.
Just don't expect a lot from them.
>>5760663
Yeah, they fixed it in the repaint.
The wings are fragile, but they're not *that* fragile.
>>5758695
>>5758697
Isn't this the banpresto prize figure? Why does it have that orange shit on the mouth?
>>5759496
Settle down, Captain Autismo.
We talk about vinyl in these threads from time to time. You're starting to sound like Russo.
>>5760728
Knowing anno he's been drinking the orange tang
>>5760629
>but some of the joints were so floppy that it couldn't even hold a pose, and every time I tried to do anything with it parts liked to just kind of fall off.
I'm with the other guy on either defects or loose ball joints. If the latter, a quick fix is to take apart the figure at that point and apply nail polish to the ball and socket. It worked wonders for a loose torso on the shma that I have.
G2K is personally my favorite non-kiryu of the line. Yeah he can't look up much and his torso isn't a sideways kinda thing, but I love the range he has in his arms and legs, and the softer plastic makes him feel a bit more durable and less likely of breaking
>G2K can't keep his tail up
That's weird. I've kept him in a pose with the tail wrapped around his body mid-air all badass like without any modification or trouble. I didn't realize others had a problem to the point of assuming it was a regular issue.
>>5761273
Can you pose the tail like this, though?
And yeah, it's a known issue. Mine can definitely move, but it goes flaccid very quickly. I think it's just because the joints aren't tight enough to withhold such an articulated tail, than an issue with sculpt or whatever.
>>5761401
>Mine can definitely move, but it goes flaccid very quickly
same with mine. I'm sure it's because of how long it is. My G64 has the shortest tail, and that tail has no problems staying up
Anyone know where I can find one of these?

His skin from the very beginning was supposed to resemble keloid scarring. Nakajima also held his arms close to his body to give the illusion Godzilla had small arms.
>>5762362
I like the vague showa origin more than Heisei's comic book radiation magic. Showa zilla didnt turn giant or more upright after the bomb,he just got scarred up,and so badly irradiated his breath was radioactive. Heisei makes the change more magical and clean.
>>5762362

>>5763404
They're probably upping the ante on soley godzilla centric stuff this year (3 new shma Godzilla's not counting the spin off and this) because the new one is probably a solo movie
The thing we should hope for that is it pays off and they'll make enough to convince them to make figures we need like Anguirus and finally mg1.
>>5763317
>glitter godzilla 1993
Why would you think this was a joke when Bandai literally did it before?
I'm also waiting for clear with orange inside G2K.
Or the Rebirth mold with Jr's bright green belly.
>>5763445
And the inevitable battle damaged godzilla 1989?
>>5763308
Well I officially hate this line now.
How much are they charging for that Godzilla jizz? $300?
>>5763308
They're really reaching...
>>5763308
You ever just, sigh, and die a little on the inside? That's what this is doing to me.
>>5763308
>it's just like the old one, BUT WITH STEAM
You can literally recreate the same or better effect using
We reached image limit, but just google godzilla cotton ball
>>5763473
They also painted the tail spins orange, so it's not a straight re-issue with accessories.
>>5763308
I see absolutely no issue with this.
It's just an excuse to re-release something + improved mold, too.
Hopefully we can expect Destroyah to get something like this, considering it's been showcased.
>>5763491
Just to make it look different? Apparently the suit itself had the tail spines white.
>>5763503
And you are exactly the reason why were stuck with the line spinning it's wheels. Thank you for giving Bandai a reason to keep screwing us over.
>>5763511
>Thank you for giving Bandai a reason to keep screwing us over.
Lines get reissues all the time, why would SHMA be an exception?
Hell, I remember no body complaining when G2K got a Special Colors ver. release, because they personally missed out on the first release. There's going to be people who missed out on Burning Goji, too.
I personally don't want Burning Godzilla, but I'm excited at the increased likeliness of getting a Destroyah re-release.
>>5763511
Oh don't have a hissyfit. The problem isn't re-releasing, the problem is they haven't had a completely new sculpt (so not MKG) that hasn't ventured out of godzilla territory since... Like gigan I think
>>5763526
It doesn't make it any less a fuck you.
>>5763511
You realize the alternative would be Bandai dropping the line period, and not making your obscure Showa kaiju only popular in America right?
>>5763547
So would you rather have a silent line, with 1-2 a year?
As somebody who collects Ultra-acts, I sure fucking wish we were still getting form changes #2324 and 1-2 new figures a year.
>It doesn't make it any less a fuck you.
Except for those who don't have a Burning Godzilla (or first releases of G2K, 1964, and King Ghidorah while you're at it) and would appreciate the re-release.
>>5763550
You say that like it's a bad thing. Bandai don't want to do this line, they don't care now. I say kill the line if they're not going to put the effort into making it worthwhile.
>>5763553
Yes, make everyone suffer due to latecomers. Good plan.
>>5763578
>Bandai don't want to do this line, they don't care now
You're right. It's not like we just got four new molds this year and are going to get some re-releases.
You go continue crying in the corner and being salty while the rest of us get new Gojis, because we have enough common sense to realize that getting new SHMA Godzillas are better than no releases at all.
>>5763578
And I'd rather they not do that. I have the original Burning Godzilla they did but plan on getting this because it looks way better paining the spinde orange all the way down the tail instead of abruptly stopping for the sake of suit accuracy that we barely saw in movie.
As much as I wanted a suit-based Godzilla 2000, I do like Bandai's tweaks to G14 and GMK Godzilla's so that the actual designs' bad parts are fixed to not look as bad.
>>5763550
>Showa kaiju only popular in America right?
Not even him, but in pretty sure monsters like MG1 and Anguirus would hardly warm shelves. I get why we won't be getting titanosaurus any time soon (his fanbase is primarily in America), but for 2 monsters where the former is Godzilla's most popular opponent alongside Ghidorah (and the fact that even freaking Mechagodzilla 2 got one) and a monster that has appeared in 6 movies (including Godzilla's own second movie which did big buisness in attendance), it isn't a reach to assume Bandai would have no trouble selling those
>>5763588
They've half assed it the whole way, and I pity you if you're going to buy that sculpted turd from the new movie.
>>5763603
>They've half assed it the whole way
Now, they are pretty much coasting on the "all godzilla all the time" train if thought, but 80% of the time their figures are the best representation of the character
Yeah 94 was a flawed first release, king Ghidorah wave one was an inexcusable fuck up with his wings, and they really dropped the ball in 2014 and cheeto godzilla, but that doesn't negate the times that they nailed it like kiryu, Yuji sakai's godzilla, etc.
>>5763584
You are aware that if we weren't getting re-releases, we'd just be suffering through a dry spell until the next new sculpt comes in, right? Re-releases aren't taking your new (Godzilla) releases hostage or some shit.
Also, Bandai being able to sell multiple releases of one mold = more money to be made for Bandai = more likely for the figure to be made.
>>5763610
>but 80% of the time their figures are the best representation of the character
I guarantee you don't collect anything that else that isn't Monsterarts.
>>5763633
I've had bandai's, NECA's, other less known brands and even Trendmasters (though theyre hardly in the line of movie accuracy). Outside of model kits, that's pretty much true. The only kiryu fig that can even compete is the dx
>>5763308
Pfft, just like em t-
>Ultimate Burning
...shit that's good.
>>5763641
>ultimate burning
>doesn't cause the earth to blow up
Dropped
>>5763638
rofl you collect NECA and Trendmasters and think you're an expert on the topic
The X-Plus 30cm Kiryu and 2003 Bandai Battle Pack shit on the monsterarts. Barring the smaller tail, the Battle Damaged Marmit is way better too.
Fuck that anorexic shiny turd.
>>5763643
>Back spines are just fire shaped like them.
SHIIIIIIIIIII
>>5763645
I said figures, not x plus
And seriously? X plus with its big ass lower section, feet, not to mention the fact that shma made a far more suit accurate figure. Hell, the dx is a far more proportionally suit accurate kiryu than x plus.
And hardly ever did justice to kiryu, barring the bandpresto releases
>>5763645
>statues that don't need to sacrifice sculpt for joints and poseability, especially the ones that are twice as big and $100+, can be more accurate than articulated figures
wew lad
>>5763308
When will we get melting Godzilla so we can all cry again?
>>5763653
>I said figures, not x plus
lol shut the fuck up, it has "garage toy" on the fucking cover of the box, but your ass wouldn't know that cause you only collect shit you see in Toys R Us or Amazon (yet for whatever reason speak with authority)
>>5763659
SpaceGodzilla is an articulated figure and actually one of the best representations of the character, don't pull the argument that an engineered sculpt somehow removes itself from criticism.
Also the X-Plus release of Kiryu has a couple points of articulation, it's not 100% static.
>>5763662
I know it says garage toy dumbass, everyone has seen an x plus and an x plus box. But it's not what's generally discussed here.
>go back to toys r us or amazon
Yeah, I don't buy shit from either of those places
>speaking with authority
Wew, it's toys not soemtthing serious, no one with any sense gives a shit where you buy em
>>5763662
>Ask for figures
> but "garage toy"!
Wew lad.
>>5763669
I just can't get over the fact that you claimed Monsterarts is almost always the best representation of their specific characters, and your point of reference is fucking Trendmasters. That's hilarious.
>>5763662
I said "can be", not "is" or "always".
>Also the X-Plus release of Kiryu has a couple points of articulation, it's not 100% static.
Big deal, that's a lot different from having 30+ points of articulation.
You're comparing apples to oranges, and maybe the other guy is too. I don't know.
But SHMA and X-Plus and other vinyls are different things. One is made to be playable first and foremost (which is why they took some design integrity with G2K and '14, although some people might not have liked/agreed with it), the other is served to just be a replica.
In general, it's stupid to compare statues to very articulated figures.
>Another general getting ruined by a X-Plus zealot.
>>5763675
I don't care if people don't like comparing SHMA with X-Plus, they're both mass-produced products released on the market, and the original point was whether either or is the best representation of the character, their performance contextually is irrelevant.
>>5763676
What the heck does that even mean? I just openly praised SpaceGodzilla as a near perfect sculpt.
also if we're being real, SHMA is starting to reach X-Plus prices for their website exclusives anyway, at this point they're basically a market competition in my eyes and not worth anywhere near the price tag,
>>5763588
> 4 new molds
All overpriced shit.
>>5763611
You are aware you don't have to be Bandai's bitch, right?
No means no.
>>5763653
Suck a penis.
Everyone knows that M1go, Marmit, Marusan, Bullmark, Toygraph, CCP, Bear Model, Gigabrain, Hazawa Gumi, and Pilot Ace are instant pleb filters.
If you collect just SHMA, NECA, or X-Plus you're basically a pleb. Jizzing over mass manufactured crap found on Amazon, LEL.
>>5764212
Gigabrain Ghidora is godlike but I missed out on best opportunity to grab one.
If not the original I'd love to grab the purple variant one of these days.
also don't forget Marmit Build Up kits and Biliken are pretty goat too.
>>5764224
I'd like to talk about kits in these generals but you always have that sperg who complains about statueshit.
>>5764233
I can't paint so I don't really have any kits in my collection, but I'm always on the look out for pre-painted pieces.
My most wanted right now are the Marmit build up Hedorah and Billiken Godzilla '75. I saw a really nice price on a pre-painted Billiken Baltan the other day for like $130 but didn't have the money on me.
Quick! You just got creative control of the next Monsterart! Which Kaiju do you use to make a figure of.

You're right. I was thinking of Legion.

>Wants a Monsterarts of Zilla, Muto, Keizer Ghidorah and a set of Godzilla The Animation OC monsters.
Incredible.
Do you think Legendary will tweek Godzillas appearance a little in the next movie?
I mean... Godzilla's appearance always changed a bit in the old movies, and super hero costumes are always changed in movies so they can sell more toys.
Godzilla 2014 is cool, but I would also like another cool Godzilla.
>>5768293
I would be disappointed if they didn't do at least a slight change. If nothing else, I'm sure he'll have more scars.
>>5768498
I suspect more scars and some gray to his spines.. like a boney ash kinda gray.
