I wish I felt like I had room in my budget/display to buy all of these because their Trypticon is one of the best toys I've ever owned.
But the SD style is weird because I like it but it makes them not fit in with any other transformers and I tend to just buy stuff to display alongside other figures. Especially big base bots.
Their Trypticon goes well with legends figures and I think their Omega Supreme looks like it will go well enough with them too but Metroplex and Scorponok look too obviously SD with their super giant heads.

But yeah if you've never tried any of their figures I super recommend them if Trypticon is anything to go off of. Probably the highest quality feeling 3rd-party figure I have. Super high quality-feeling plastic, tons of little tampo details and stuff, really great use of diecast and clear parts, loaded with gimmicks, covered in 5mm-port guns, just like a 10/10 version of Trypticon.

I really really recommend their Trypticon, but I guess if you're definitely getting Omega Supreme you should just wait until you get that one and see if it sells you on getting Trypticon too. One of the head designers at MMC. He's quite prolific as he's made toys for MMC, iGear, KFC, and Mech Ideas, probably the most 3P TF work for a single person.
The problem stems from his aesthetic. Dull face sculpts, odd proportions, and most infamously, layers upon layers of uninspired detailing. He also never designs toys closely to their original appearances.

The turret would have to be a separate part, anyway, unless it was static, which I doubt anyone wants(especially considering that one of his most iconic scenes in that mode is Kup bending the turret up and breaking it in the movie). To be honest I was being kind of lazy.
It's partially because of copyright issues. China, which many companies are based/stationed in, handles copyrights differently (don't know the specifics) which makes it harder for Hasbro/Takara to go after them. You also have the issue of Transformers that are stylized enough (eg. Hexatron) to make filing for copyright infringement much harder.
It also helps that third party companies avoid using the Autobot/Decepticon logo (which HasTak has patents for, and will easily get them into legal trouble), as well as copyrighted names.
...And the money issue. It definitely costs money to go after these companies, and it doesn't seem too justified to waste money for something that actually doesn't cost them money (and in some cases, can actually help improve sales eg. add-on kits, supplementary figures...)
Now, for things like KOs, HasTak has definitely went for. This is because it actually hurts their sales, and it's an outright copyright infringement.

It's hard to prove the case for likeness in China for toys with original tooling. KOs get cracked down on especially if they share Trademarks with real names and logos which Hasbro/Takara will pursue. So long as an optimus looking bot is an original figure and named something like "faggot truck" and not Optimus Prime it's okay. Plus third party runs are so small that cracking down on them is not worth the effort as they'll just rebrand and shit out what they were making under a new label and the whole process will start over again.They've never had a problem with add ons though since you need the original toy for them to work.
What they can do is target domestic resellers and threaten them with pulling official stock if they continue selling competing transforming toys, but so far they haven't this bar Botcon. Then they just set up shop in a hotel room away from the venue anyway. They do threaten resellers that they'll pull their products if they sell direct KOs or things based on KOs. That's why you won't see the Wei Jang Evasion Prime on those sites.
Hilariously, Fansproject, Maketoys, and MMC did the same to Robot Kingdom after they started selling KO's of their products.

I love this design, but the colors are such an eyesore. I think I'll go for Nero rex even if the colors aren't as iconic. I'm easily influenced, though, and I kinda want the classic colors to match with my Botcon 16 Megatron, though(even if it was a terrible comic).

The biggest issue I have so far is he weighs a fucking ton. No, really, if he fell, he'd probably break my fucking foot or someones skull or something. Oh, and the pegs during the sword connection stressed one of the weapon pegholes, which I found kind of odd. I don't think it'll break though, and even if it did I don't think it'd hinder sword stability.
Other than that, he's got some unexpectedly sharp bits. I actually stabbed my thumb once or twice, and have a blood blister from catching my finger.
