I usually stick to y!auctions and suruga-ya for buyfagging. If you can find an item that's distinctly lower or close to a usual price (while including middleman fees), I'd say it's worth it. There's often more interesting listings too.
Just remember that the auctions for used items are less likely to have strict quality checks like other stores.

It's funny, because Kaneki is the only one of the three I'm really interested in. The only reason I am buying the other two is for completionist reasons, and so as to support the line as much as I can.
I think they might already have a painted prototype of him, though, going by the promotional pictures at Wonfes. They just didn't have it physically present back then.

Those are "emblem key covers". There are a few floating around y!auctions, including JoJolion's.
Even Mandarake and suruga-ya are out currently. Keep an eye on "ジョジョ エンブレム" or "ジョジョ エンブレムキーカバー", or use FigInStock to stay updated.
Regarding keychains or straps, there are a lot for stands/characters (in varying quality), Iggy, Stone Mask, etc. Personally, I prefer the emblem key covers that you posted.

This question would've been a lot more understandable a year or so ago, when almost all of all SAS figures (excluding the Kinnikuman ones) were JoJo ones.
Now that Parasyte, Drifters, Ajin and Tokyo Ghoul have figures/are gonna have figures, I don't think it's all that applicable anymore.
It's also possible Tokyo Ghoul will become a bigger, more JoJo-esque line if it's successful enough (and if the less savory part of the fanbase, like the anime community is any indication, it will be) now that they're slowly running out of main figures for their JoJo lines (they could go for updated versions of old figures, like Stardust Crusader figures, or more secondary characters, though)
Frankly, only time will tell.

Favorites are favorites but articulation to me isn't S&W's strong suites. The tubes on his legs really lock down movement but oddly enough he can move his leg forward pretty well. The ab crunch isn't really there but that's mostly due to the design.
He's my first SAS but after messing around with a good chunk of the line, he's far from being the most posable in my experience. Young Joseph, Ajin/IBM, SPIV have set the stone on my end.

Medicos seemed pretty outgoing with the Kinnikuman line when they were doing it, looking at their WF panel years ago. If it had been successful, I can imagine it living pretty long given all the character options + colour options like Jojo.
Still pretty dumb that they didn't do Kinnikuman himself, though. Why the fuck would you release Robin Mask, Warsman, and Buffaloman, as well as show coloured prototypes of Ataru and Super Phoenix, but didn't bother with the main character himself???
I like the Figuarts a lot so I'm not sure if I would have preferred the Medicos SAS line or not (the SAS proportions are too stylized), but I do like how Medicos absolutely milked the figures for all they're worth in terms of alternate colours.

He can do some really odd poses but he rarely touches on the most posable from the line. Especially with the limited range within his arms and the pointed sculpt of his thighs limiting even more. I've had him the longest so I know his limits versus the others. The pic doesn't really help

Kira 2nd and KQ2nd? They're pretty desirable and I would argue the most popular villain combo for the line so they sell like hotcakes. When you compare them to their 1st iterations you can see why they sell so easily and quickly but that's my guess. Part 4 in general was treated to some solid color way choices versus the others from what I've seen. Plus if Part 4 is that popular over in Japan then it can also explain the cost and why it's a pain to get either from time to time.
I managed to get them way back when before the anime for Part 3 was airing but it's like a rush on Mandarake for those two. I still miss some of those crazy drops they had back then(3 or 4 WF Joseph's at 8500 a piece for one night.)

It's color preference, don't over think it.
Only issue that is found with KC is just the eyes being painted on at different directions. Epitaph is usually a common case but that covers both the original and WF release. Though personally I love the cherry red of KC1st but I ended up going for the WF release for the yellow and gold paint apps.

Personally I think CD1st is a bit much but his light blue tones do work a bit with Josuke 2nd. What I find appealing to Araki's art is his use of contrasting colors and overtime I found CD2nd to be a solid choice for that particular colorway.

I've owned both CD's before, so I know how they pair with Josuke. I was set on keeping with the color scheme, but a thought emerged to get CD in green to make him shine bright like a diamond in the center of the display as the focal point since the display is otherwise a sea of pinks.

It's obvious that Johnny will be packed with Tusk Act 1 if it's small enough.
I'm more curious how they will approach Act 4 but we have to wait and see.
Diego should be an interesting release since he had a pretty important hand in Part 7 though I'm wondering if Medico's cares enough to pull both Diego and The World Part VII as a sort of 2.0 release like Star Platinum IV was for articulation.
And to follow what they usually do I see Hot Pants being another release as a side character. Accessories should be interesting going past Meat Spray being an item she can hold on to.
