I need some ideas that fit the Occult theme the Titanlands had. All I've got is Blood Magic, mutating defeated enemies into permanent slaves, and possessing you or your buddies with demons for a time to make you stronger.

That adds on to a spy network of drones that I'll get going too, of course. I considered going for a familiar with possession instead, which would be useful for away missions, but it's pretty redundant with flawless mind control. There's one serious downside to taking "scrying" instead of just Remote Viewing, which is that if I'm imprisoned, I can't use it to get myself out. But as long as I get a nice army of loyal minions before arousing ire (as long as I can get a few, getting more should be fairly easy and that's the first thing I'll be doing) there'll be forces in place if I need a rescue, which I don't intend to. It's a reasonable risk that I'm willing to take in exchange for another avenue of information gain.

Withermouth looks like the most pleasant place to live, but I'm not sure if my powers work on the monsters there. Riverfront East is a good base, because it has lots of initial targets available, and I can do a lot of good for the neighborhood. All I have to do is enthrall everyone, and I can eliminate the violence, then we can work together to drive out the hunters, if my powers don't work on them. I hope they do though. A lot of the critters that prey on humans are probably useful in other regards. And the denizens of a neighborhood like this are likely strong people too. Once I get a gang going, we can abduct and enslave people on a massive scale pretty quickly. Once I get enough, the time it takes me to make a convert is probably going to be the main limiting factor. It's also nice that this is a neighborhood in a city, rather than a small town. It makes expansion beyond my current borders a more natural and organic thing. Although I'm sure I'll meet bigger enemies then, and there's enough to deal with in my own back yard, so that's far enough in the future that I don't need to worry too much about it yet. Nonetheless, I plan to control the whole city some day.
Peter Blake and Liam Black seem like good gentlemen to work with. Leah Dawson is a good apprentice/waifu. Her magic can hopefully do stuff my human thralls can't.

I've mentioned a lot about my WIPs lately, but I will reiterate that you likely won't see my big projects for months from now. Progress is slow because of work, school, and now a relationship.
I might release something smaller sooner, though. I'm working on a CYOA based on being a guard where you have to manage the living expenses of your squad (your income versus buying equipment, rent upkeep, etc). It'll be a low fantasy setting.

To clarify, I'm NOT recommending this turn into another waifu/husbando CYOA. I like them, but we have enough for now and this is actually an interesting concept that doesn't need to be turned into fetish bait. I just think that, seeing as we'll be spending ALL of our time with our master, making them a more prominent figure in the CYOA itself would improve the feel of the work as a whole and might actually give us a sense of goals and companionship beyond the abstract (in terms of our master's goals (the hell do we care, they're the boss) or superficial (see most CYOA who give you so little on so many people that they're little better than archetypes). Again, these can be fun, but this CYOA has serious potential.

It feels like he's trying to do every specific type of mage, whereas I think that adding fewer, slightly broader, focuses would be better. It wouldn't be perfect and would still require some tweaking, but I feel that, as is, he's making it too complicated for the level of depth we've been provided.

The thing about perk-focus exchange is that Focuses are somewhat stronger than perks on the whole for what they give. I'm torn up on it because Trading 1 perk for 1 Focus Power would be too good an exchange in most cases. But 2 perks for 1 Focus Power I think is a bit much.

I figure that goes down at the higher age categories more because they've spent more time without a familiar or been through several of them in their lifetime. If I manage to survive, we'll remain close for life, even if one day she no longer needs me as her familiar.

Same as before, it's appropriate for a witch, especially a spirit witch. Most people might have the first impulse to try to be "special". A crow is the exact opposite, blending in completely with the natural environment almost anywhere/ Unless I want to be no one would even suspect I was a familiar without magical detection.
>Focus: The Spirit; Ghostwalk
Ghostwalk is one of the most functional abilities for both me and my witch. I can get in, or out, of anything I choose. The spell can even be used to dodge an attack, letting it harmlessly pass through.
Spirit's call would give both of us a "mission", to communicate with and appease the spirits. Hopefully it's something we can learn later in life, though at this stage simply learning the basics of magic and survival is enough anyway.

Faster than the fastest birds of prey, with this perk the only downside to my particular choice of species is how much I can carry, which honestly is a good thing as I would hate to be used as a beast of burden in any form.

When magic and subtlety both fail, "Living Bullet". Being tougher in general is also very handy.
>Telepathic
I'm not really "built" to spend time at my master's side, at least not in public. I can perch high above and be her eyes and ears, communicating what I see through this perk.

As an orphan, my master is particularly destitute. While that doesn't really affect me all that much (I'm pretty low-maintenance), I wouldn't be surprised to find her resorting to thievery herself to survive. Our focus certainly supports it, as we can both get into anything. Being what I am, no one is liable to suspect human involvement if I do it.
