I was once a mighty Titan Slayer, but then I died long ago. The twins, however, decided they would put my brain in the body of a defeated ogre. They, of course, worked on the ogre to improve the body but due to complications with the reanimation process it was easier to have my mind be in my true head whilst the spirit that was bound to my existance be split between my original mind and this now headless ogre body.
Also, this shit's ridiculous, I should now curb-stomp the titans based on the stat scaling. As such, I guess I'd take on the titan for free drinks/rent, and then end the Coming for a custom companion and +3 endurance to be truly indestructible. Don't really care about the companion part, maybe someone will invent one for me. Me against anything else is unfair, but I guess I could save everyone and everything for other awesome rewards.

I'm awaiting anime pussy before I delve more thoroughly into the subject matter, but take into account the extremely different physical accomplishments in anime compared to what we have seen in our day and age. An average human might survive a metal rod piercing the cranium and severely damaging the brain, but this is unlikely; a "human" in anime can survive a multitude of wounds and need only a brief stay in a quality hospital at worst in order to be on their feet later in the episode. Take into account the antics regularly seen in more "slapstick" anime where a protagonist might be punched through a building by the violent love interest. This alone places them well outside the boundaries seen in peak humans considering both strength and durability.

Warriors were not prancing around like ballerinas. Humans are not elves. You need to readjust your conception of how melee fighting works. Fencing is a fucking sport, not real combat.
To answer your question, it's because they needed to give dexterity a use so it wouldn't be a dump stat. And everyone with a brain knows a warrior doesn't need it. So bows got it.

You don't need to hit someone with a tremendous amount of force to kill or wound them seriously. Mike Tyson stabbing you vs a Bernie Sanders stabbing you isn't going to have all that much of a difference. It'd be more helpful to be able to stab more frequently since you can try again if you miss, which more strength doesn't help with.

It's not so simple to use a sword. It does require some strength and endurance, but a lot of it is control over the blade.
Strength is a good quality, and it does help. But it's about controlling the blade precisely, being able to deflect blows, and being able to put your blade into their body without them putting theirs into yours. I CAST FIST. Between my strength, speed, and martial arts I don't actually need a weapon. The only reason I'm purchasing one at all is for the dust charges. I'm basically just using modified gloves so that I can cast FIST with elemental boosts.
I choose to forgo a vehicle. Traveling on foot will help me train my "fast mover" ability. Also thanks to my superhuman strength and agility, I can use that grappling hook much like Spiderman, allowing me to quickly scale large enemies and obstacles and even close with flying enemies to punch them out of the air.

There is a difference between a taster tasting food and realizing it tastes like shit, vs you looking at a fight and saying the person should do this when you have no experience, no credentials to back it up.
A chef makes food, which produces a tangible result that can be tasted by another person with no experience. You don't need to be a good chef to know food tastes bad.
A fighter has to actually fight against a competing opponent, this will not produce a tangible result in many cases (except in professional boxing, MMA, or kickboxing where they actually knock each other out, but not in swordfighting since those injuries can be very serious). Now since this was a sparring match, there's not going to be a KO or deathblow. You DO need to have some skill in a fight to know what a fighter should do. It's nothing like eating food that's shit.
You are also aware your analogy is shit? They are not a 1 to 1 representative, but they're the best we have. They may not match up with real combat 100%, but they get very close.

I'd write a program that sweeps through government and corporate records for the most desperate individuals and anonymously fudges records and distributes funds so that they overnight find themselves miraculously able to support their families or pay off that home loan and dig themselves out of the lower-middle rut. Something something American dream.
A similar program could calculate how to distribute appropriatable funds to do the most net-good in the world and Robin Hood the shit out of everyone. It'd probably end up suggesting its own chairty program and to start fleecing banks and billionaires before feeding the world and distributing vaccines and medicine to the third world.
Oh, and a program that alerts me with a new interesting/useful fact every day. And hell why not also a dietician/exercise coach? In fact, personal fitness coaches and dieticians for everyone.

All rounder specced to fill in wherever needed and enough Charisma to run a larger team. Extra emphasis on battlefield control with spatial awareness, tremorsense and high PER to be aware of where everyone and everything is, plus the ability to create golem meatshields (or spies) and manipulate the physical battlefield for additional support at all times. Protective/healing skills to run support and keep people alive, an armory of powerful weapons that I can pull out on demand to supply teammates with, ranged support lightbeams, backup physical weapons if magic fails, a background in explosives and enough science to keep up with the scientist twins in my party, and electrical spells to be a human battery for the technomancers.
Plus two open slots for additional members depending on where we go. Maybe a ranger type for the outdoors, an aquatic/wind type for the seas, a thief for dungeon diving, a bard for morale, 'sall good.
Reasonably high CHA to be the party face. Physical endurance to shrug off a titan isn't bad either.
I suppose if I really wanted to I could pick up Operation: Gravedigger for another 1000 years of adventures, but that might feel lonely if I couldn't give my friends eternal youth as well.

Interestingly enough when Beri first started doing these I'd download some of the rectangular images or the pure white background images and modify them for Beri. Either add a background so it wasn't so glaring or crop them down. A few times I'd have to rebuild part of the image due to it not cropping well.

I can summon and make all the ghosts, live forever with a steady supply of souls and snoop about with astral projection without fear. Living in the city, there'll be any number of homeless people, beggars, and runaways that could end up disappearing into my soulwell, and unlike most undead my ghosts can just disappear from view when I don't want them seen.

So I'll live a fairly comfortable life in a big city, protected by elite ghosts with a few money making ventures on the side. And of course immortality. And all it costs me is some dead hoboes and beggars! Or anyone else at the wrong place at the wrong time, I'm not picky.
And I've got Nadya and Kaiju if I ever get lonely. Sure one's a ghost who I'm forcing to assist me with casual soul devouring and ones probably only sticking with me because I facilitate an easy stream of blood, but they're easy on the eyes.

Maybe you should make buying either Battleform Upgrade I or II let you choose your battleform's shape, and remove the blurb from Fire.
Better yet, just merge the two upgrades into a single 2-pointer - is getting a bit bigger really worth the same cost as taking Speedster II for your Osmium form?
Also I liked the older, less granular power grouping, where a power, say, let you choose one specific material you could manipulate rather than having separate powers for each material you could think of. It would shorten things up even if you used a hybrid 'turn into solid/fluid/energy/a few others' setup.

I think being bigger's a big deal for Battleform. Maybe not for these initial battleforms, but if I ever do the DLC/Expansion thing where Sand, Water and similar are a thing, having more volume is a pretty big deal.
The healing thing is more because this is a Worm CYOA. Healing's a valuable commodity in Worm.
I personally preferred the open ended version where people could choose their own powers. I wanted to compress the cyoa. But that's apparently not what the majority want. Honestly, the newer version is making me nervous in that there are 12 power classifications, and if each class ends up taking an entire page, then add in all the other stuff, I might end up with a stupidly large cyoa.
Having said that, I do plan to have a generic superhero cyoa after I finally frickin' finish this Worm thing. That CYOA will probably be more open ended, thus shorter, and have higher power levels. Oh, and it'll probably have Magic as a power-type.

I think choosing specific, boring powers isn't very Worm. You should either give players creativity in making synergistic powers or give them choices between complex, unique ones to puzzle together.
Although, a drawback idea I had was a 'build/roll your own drawback', where you gave them a 4x12 table where each cell had a different cost modifier, so that your power:
>does not work (+10 - rarity)/only works (+rarity)/recharges (+rarity/2)/does not recharge (+5 - (rarity/2))/gives you headaches (+10 - rarity, uncapped)/etc.

Unfortunately, it seems people aren't keen on creativity. I jest, I jest (sorta). But they kept complaining that I nerfed the powers and that there's no customization, when in fact, the powers were significantly buffed and open ended meant there's even more choices.
But I ain't really complaining. I like the constructive feedback. Tuning the CYOA to the audience. Hopefully, like the first version, once I get these descriptions done, it'll open up the door for more combos.
I REALLY like the idea of randomized/table of drawbacks though. That's rather Worm-esque. I should make all powers have to roll for potential weaknesses. I'll have to figure something out later.

For blood magic I have the basic, "drain life, single target damage, area damage, and shield"
Healing is basically the same, heal, area heal, shield an ally, cure diseases
Necromancy I only have summon a skeleton, summon a skeleton mage, and summon a giant zombie.

Season of the Lich [Permanent Effect of the Candle]

Surmising that the Necromancer is the only real problem, I only deal with what of its Horde I must, and I do that quietly. Its poisoning powers do not work on me, as I am quite immune. I do not play fair, blinking out of the way of its minions and attacks, reducing their numbers and setting them alight with lightning. Eventually the Lich succumbs to the Light driven bolts of Lightning that I command. Without their master, the undead fall to pieces, no power animating them any longer.

Some time later, when the great war comes, I am again summoned. Once I ran from War, now I willingly march toward it, my power significant enough at this point to make a difference. The kingdom I fight for is not important, This I do because of a promise, of land, a place to call home. The War lasts long, too long, but with every victory the soldiers beside me become those I command, and their loyalty gradually shifts from unseen leaders who do not care for them, to me, who is constantly at their side in battle.

The City-Sized Realm here seems like an auto-win. Assuming it's a regular city and not some evacuated place where no one goes. Even if it starts abandoned, as long as you don't go overboard with the realm powers it's going to get populated because people aren't going to leave prime real estate to rot for now good reason.
Anyway once you have a city full of people you don't even have to DO anything. Doesn't even matter what it is you feed on. Want blood? There are plenty of violent murders every year. Want people to go insane? Mental breakdowns happen even more often. Souls? All the person has to do is "waste their years away" in your realm, all you have to do is wait for them to die, in a city that will be multiple every single day.
