I kind of like Jumpchain, but I don't really look at it as a chain of CYOAs. Also I don't ever 'hang out' in the threads. If you look at them individually, there is suddenly hundreds of individual CYOAs for all kinds of shows/movies/books/games whatever that you can enjoy. They vary in quality like most CYOAs but some of them are actually really great.

A lot of people have a problem with it because if you have 'done' like 50 jumpchains you're pretty much just a god. Also some of the people that are into it are pretty weirdly intense about it.

It's more the people who talk like their fantasies are real. It's not 'Oh this is cool I would do this' It's more 'Oh I did this and that! That was so cool when I did that!'

I enjoy my fantasies as an occasional escape from reality... What makes me kind of uncomfortable for a few reasons is a a lot of those dudes talk like it IS their reality.
>>
>>46090446
Isn't that the purpose of fantasy thought, to create a secondary world? It's what we do when we roleplay we inhabit a made up world and we invest emotionally in it.

And I mean if people have shitty lives and want to believe for a while that they don't, why judge them for it? Maybe it's how they cope, maybe it's even good for their self-esteem or social skills.

You're not being a dick about it so it's okay but for me it's just a matter of degrees between us and the jumpchain and magical girl anons.

You're certainly right that the fantasy can be good, and I also appreciate that you're not a dick.
I guess I just get my opinion from hanging out in some Jumpchain threads awhile ago. As I said, I do like a lot of the Jumps so I was interested in seeing what the community was like. Maybe it was just bad timing but a lot of what I read felt like it had gone beyond helpful/enjoyable fantasy to the realm of unhealthy fantasy.

I guess I push back against them because, as you said, it really is just a matter of degrees of difference even between the healthy and unhealthy fans. We tend not to dislike anything as much as the people that are slightly 'bellow' us that we could be mistaken for.

I had an overlord build I really liked, about a magma knight that guarded sacred treasures at the centre of the earth. I was going to write him into a D&D campaign but it never seemed to be the right time to fit him in.
>>
>>46091061
It's because you can do anything in it while also having several things at once. Everyone's covered. You want lewdness and combat power? Just take polyamora and another world like crucible. You wanna explore weird shit? Almost everything counts, and boy are they strange and alien. You wanna stay at home? Sure, in fact, take Bevin as an even *better* home. Or don't, and just stay on Earth.

That's why I always disliked the implications that plot is incoming. A lot of that would inevitably be ruined by it.
>>
>>46091085
I don't think so on the pdf, I have it all saved on my computer but this is also a good resource for Conduit things: https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Conduit

Good CYOAS often make me want to read books set in their universe. Even something like Artifex about a Multiverse-spanning war of the gods makes me salivate. The Ambers Chronicles with higher power levels and sci-fi tech... Haaa...
>>
>>46091137
So you're an assassin? Not sure I get your build. Also which element is your drake aligned with?
>>
>>46091234
Yep, Assassin. I'd align it with Shadow probably so it's harder to notice.General consensus is that can pierce armour that are charged with fire/electricity. Can teleport using Shadow Jump and Blink. Cloud of Smoke to get away and Flame Armour to reduce weight/increase speed

>>
>>46091283
Pretty sure it's one of the genre's first works since it was published in the 70's.

It starts up as a pulpy noir story, then morphs into inter dimensional intrigue, then into High Fantasy, then it gets Cosmic etc. It keeps expanding and going through different styles and worlds but it stays coherent and adventurey. Plus it has incest. I like it.
>>
>>46090145

Magical Girl, because obviously.

The Mascot, which will be cute and helpful and massively add to my merchandise appeal which is of course the source of a magical girl's power.

The Possessed, who was the previous magical girl trained by my Familiar before she turned to evil; she's my dark twin in many ways, sharing many of my abilities, and has missed more than one chance to destroy me by holding back in the hope that I'll see that we're not so different and become like her too. After I defeat her she'll become my ally in season two.

Shining Crystal, to save my wicked counterpart using the power of love

Heart Link, Purification: this stuff is custom designed to take down The Possessed, isn't it?

Love Conquers All, because everyone loves a revolving door afterlife

Inspiration, which is basically going to be my spinach. Has the villain defeated me and trapped me in a death trap and left me to my fate? Inspiration! For when a girl needs to pull a contrived deus ex machina to resolve the crisis!

Now, does anybody mind if I copy in some of the PDFs from the other thread? I kind of want to design my costume now. And my transformation sequence. And maybe my generation I action figure line.

>Air
Tier 1: Air Attunement
>Air mages with this ability can be viewed as extremely agile, moving quickly, dodging easily and always landing on their feet. In truth the air mages with this ability have attuned themselves to an air elemental, allowing them to become light as a feather, or anywhere between their normal weight and the weight of a feather, at will. This requires no effort because the mage sacrifices a small percentage of their energy reserves to attune themselves to their element.
>>

Tier 2: Wind Control
>The caster is able to direct winds. On the high seas this could be a boon. With practice the caster can direct more focused bursts and streams of wind capable of knocking opponents around or picking up elements in the environment to send flying at an enemy. Especially talented mages might use particulate matter from the environment to blind enemies, and very strong mages might create winds focused enough to rend flesh from bone.

>Directing winds is a minor effort from second to second, but the longer the effort and more focused and powerful the winds, the more taxing the effort becomes.
Tier 3: Whirlwind
>a moderate twister capable of sucking in and flinging enemies, and anything else it gets near, in all directions. The caster must maintain this spell the entire time it is in effect, and constantly direct it. If concentration is lost several things may happen. If the caster is lucky the whirlwind will simply dissipate. If they're not lucky the whirlwind may go wild, and grow in power out of the caster's control.

>The whirlwind must constantly be fed energy from the caster, the effort from second to second is moderate, but the culmulative effect can be devastating on a caster's energy reserves.
Tier 4: Heart of Storms
>The Mage becomes fully attuned to the element of air. They control their air spells more efficiently, and may put more strength behind them. Finally, the pinnacle of Air magic, they convert their very body into that of an air elemental at will. This form is extremely taxing, but in it their air spells are magnified massively allowing them even greater strength and reaching massive distances. Air spells in this form cost no energy, but the crash when leaving the elemental form will leave most mages helpless.

Since I mage up a school I decided that my companion slots would be sacrificed except for a the horse, which is why the horse is written as costing 8 slots. The elemental portion is from the spare weapon slot.

As one of the Prophets my focus will be the Sentinels. I will be the direct link between the Prophets and the Sentinels, relaying information between the two in an effort to best direct our defenses. In an all out siege my place will be with the Sentinels.

The relationship between myself and the rest of the Prophets is strained, as I consistently side with the Sentinels in all decisions, defense of our lands and our people's is my only concern, not the politics or intrigue of the upper echelons of our society.

I am single minded, humorless, and utterly dedicated.

Trying to make a good support build. Spoiler alert: I'll fuck it up somehow.

Equipment:
Soldier Helmet
Soldier Cuirass
Battle Robe Gloves
Wizard Robes Bottom

Unwieldy One-handed Wand
Tower Shield (I don't plan on moving around, I can teleport)
Custom Weapon: a very large amount of sharpened metal shards, that my dragon carries around.

Role:
Sentinel

Companions and Mount:
Lighting-spewing Dragon. Because why not.

Abilities:
Plasma Weapons, Blink, Magnetism
Mass teleportation ! Useful for Sentinels protecting a long border. Magnetism lets me control a swarm of plasma-charged weapons around myself, which is pretty cool.
Energy Siphon, Focus and Barrier
Lets me greatly boost my allies' mana, easily restore my own and cast shields.
Masochist
Mending Sparks and Guardian Halo
The more damage I take, the faster my healing factor and the more powerful my healing spells.

Meh. So I'm a great healer, I can also shield people. But besides that? I have limited offensive capability, with only my magnetized arsenal. Oh I guess I also have a great dragon hovering over me and raining down lighting of my foes. But still I'm not sure a support build is attractive. Maybe with a bard?

I have enough raw power to do severe damage across multiple elemental types, I can heal, and I have a variety of utility skills. I'm not strong or very defensive on my own, but I have a blessed aura that protects me. I'm fast and agile, my hands are nimble and quick. I could reduce my skill and agility to hit 13 INT but that seems like overkill.

Because I can be heavy damage dealer or healer, and my variety of utility skills, I'd be useful in any party for team work. However, I'm entirely able to solo given the raw damage I can deal, across enough elemental types that I can likely find a weakness.

An orphaned boy and the jaded robot that has taken custody of him travel the world to fight cosmic horrors.

During this journey, they ponder the meaning humanity and the robot reveals he was once one of flesh, just like the boy.

To defeat The Unspeakable, they must travel back in time to defeat it before its true power is awakened. However, their means of time travel does not allow organic life to pass through, prompting a hasty solution of transferring the boy's mind into an experimental body of steel.

The battle with The Unspeakable is swift but nonetheless fierce, and it is revealed to the boy that there is no way back to their time. The two machines wander for countless generations, righting wrongs as nameless heroes before The Prototype's own body finally gives out from the strain of the ages.

Hardened by the ages, the boy takes on his friend's mantle and retraces the steps of his old journey. As they travel, he rediscovers his own humanity and places his hopes for the future in the hands of the boy, like The Prototype did before him.

I thought the things in the image's picture were the servants? I didn't realize I had to come up with one. I'd be okay with one of the weird looking servant animal-girl things from the pictures.

>what kind of attitude?
Loyal. It implies active free will, better than obedience as they'd actively want to serve and protect, and work toward those ends instead of just being obedient which implies following orders, but with no personal agency.

The way I see it, the lightning and acoustics trees have very good buffing, protection and healing abilities. Their buffing potential scales up when they are used in support of a larger group, like a small army. They also have excellent synergy with each other. So I think a lightning mage and an acoustic mage would work well together in support of the front line armies.

>>46093161
Any kind of perfect world is easier with the Journey. Just get your immortality on the other side.
>>
>>46092849
I haven't done this one in a while.

Lets say a orc skirmisher; I'll take the elf mace and chimera armor with my tokens. I'm strong and smashy with good durability and combat skill. Shame about all the stereotypes and racism, but thats why I've got stalwart companions, right?

First of all we'll take Gannibal, for strategies and leadership. He's welcome to be the leader, I'm content to be the muscle.

Next will be Vermach, because he can teach me all the combat tricks I don't know already. He also seems like a pretty cool guy! I guess we can just put a bag over his head or a mask or something when we go to town.

Then Sir Handsome McPuggerkins, to fund us. And also because he is charming.

And finally, Bianco Darkfyre. At least the view is nice. And she's powerful enough I can tune out the inconsistent vengeance stories.

And she's also good against undead, which is good because we're out to stop Arriane De Muerte, teenage necromancer queen.

Myself (elf mace), Bianco (angel stuff) and Vermach (is one, knows how they work) should all be pretty great at fighting undead, and as inexperienced as Arriane is Gannibal should be able to plan rings around her. McPuggerkins can give us the funding we need to hire troops to tie up her undead horde (in a situation to our advantage no doubt with our superior planning) while our three anti-undead fighters lead the strike to destroy the necromancers sword!

Or at least, thats the plan.
>>
>>46093155
I thought disciplines were the categories Physical, Magical, Spiritual, Weaponry, and Ethereal. It's not really clear.
>>
>>46092987
Wait, you screwed up the second one, you took 8 perks. My version wouldn't take languages.

>>

That's cheating though. And yeah I guess I could write a whole novel about my perfect world, and then open up a portal to it?
>>

Even if you can't, there's already plenty of utopia like worlds, or worlds where that big combo of immortality+change appearance+regenerate and never get diseased are basically given out for free.

>>46093230
I thought so too, because Frost says that it requires water. That would seem to imply that tier 2 skills don't necessarily require the tier 1 directly above them.

You can usually bring stuff, and since it doesn't mention it, there's no reason to think you can't.

Redesign once/change appearance at will (1 and 2)

Just take a flight there, spend a few weeks filming my scenes for some movies and fuck off back home for a couple months.

Get me some crazy bitches too, insane women who want to kill people, but when I'm famous for that just offer it up that I'm down for being murder-fucked, and get mad pussy.

Holy hell, it's like impossibly great because the slayer can't even kill me for realsies! Not unless Miracle decides that everyone is too fucking happy with my existence, which is undeniably benefiting people and not causing terrible things to happen. >Type: Magical Girl
Although ESPer is really tempting especially 'cause I've been reading so much Mob Psycho 100.
>Companion: The Fairy
Let's face it, she'll probably be the most useful.
And those "Hey! Listen!"s would probably be a lot more welcome in real-life dangerous situations than in a video game.
>Evil: The Mad Scientist
He's probably going to be the most cartoony and the least of an actual threat out of all of them.
>Basic Power: Destiny's Deck
Children's card games! New rules as the plot demands!
>Intermediate Power: Elements
It's the most versatile.
>Intermediate Power: Healing
Always comes in handy.
>Advanced Power: Scrying
If this follows tropes of a typical magical girl show, this would be useful.
>Advanced Power: Heart of the Cards
I mean, I have to have something to make my powers more useful.

Architect is good, but I see way more positive with Suicide Man because I'm not into dumping my real life into all this fantasy bullshit. I like the modern world and the direction we're going (technology-wise), and I don't want to give that up for some crazy fantasy adventure world. Just a bad deal in my book. Warlock

Rare Bow

Companions:
Jorlan
Gannibal
Delorath and Gladrer
Sir Handsome McPuggerkins the III

Homeland: Northern Holds

Adversaries:
Ellrick, The Warlord
Jorzal, Champion of the Red Gods

Ellrick doesn't have a chance. We'll begin our journey in the Eastern Kingdoms, forming our army using the pugs wealth and connections. It probably won't take us too long to get the entire military at our disposal. Then we'll take the pugs money and go to the Middle Countries where we'll hire able-bodied people to take up arms with us. After all that I'll attempt to a temporary truce with the Western Kingdoms, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Then we'll begin a war of attrition, slowly freeing the northern holds city by city and having them join our ranks, eventually reaching a climactic battle with the Warlord himself.

I am a magical archer. The Warlord cannot kill me from a distance and has no understanding of my Warlock powers. Gannibal is an excellent strategist and even Jorzal might be willing to help if it means I will finally accept his duel.

You have a shit record with the medical community then, man. I asked my doctor to do some blood-work on me to evaluate the usual stuff so we could see where my health was. Wanted to know how my blood was, if I had some bad diseases, how the cholesterol was, and when he gave me the results I was read off my blood type at the same time. It costs money, though, and that's probably why he said to call that hospital. They would have records because they are required to test that when you're out in case you're injured while you're a newborn.

Find better people to take your blood, man, especially if you're O-, that shit's the best thing. Fuck sliced bread, it's just the best thing.

If you're A/B, though, you gotta give plasma. Yes, it is an important difference and you'll be doing even better work if you give plasma because nobody fucking does that.

Normal people are just as petty as the super special snowflakes.

They can tolerate anything as long as it is relateable to themselves. And if you possess a trait that normal people find abhorrent, don't make that trait the center of your identity, in fact don't bring up that trait at all. If you don't care, they don't care and it isn't a big deal anymore.

I actually just assumed that because a lot of male fish are smaller and also bright and showy it'd be a thing that happens sometimes with fish. Not so much a 'dressing up' thing, as a "nah I was just born this way'

At the very worst they'll treat your visible physical trait like any disability that they have dealt with like Asperger syndrome, diabetes, cancer and will openly ask you if you need any special accommodations for your conditions, because you know they're normal people that want to do the friendly and sociably acceptable thing in most circumstances. At the very least, they'll treat that as a minor inconvenience that can be brushed aside.

I feel like half of that boils down to people coating themselves in grappling hooks and sacrificing all their friends. Some of those could get admittedly stupid.

Whatever works man, I enjoyed the Titan Lands as a setting.

To begin with, I would be facing Arriane, taking the wastes as my own with the help of the Spiderkin to defeat the undead she has. Her sword would be gifted to one of the companions.

Following that I'd hear news of the warlord and want to make a bigger name for myself. Making the way north and defeating him will be harder, and I'll tell the spiderkin to basically fuck off because their wastelands suck and I don't want it, it'll be my companions and I again.

After defeating them I would be challenged by the one dude, but tell him to fuck off as I'm getting destracted by dirty stinking elves. I'd be doing everything I can to start combating the growing threat of elves, but eventually have to duel this guy and take his sword in the process.

After that I'll have the weapons needed to beat some filthy knife-ears and save christmas.

Meh, I feel like that's more limiting than the current system. Like, you'll just end up with droll archetypes without a lot of customization. Everyone will pick the combat focused ones too, or most will, because there's no other axis to worry about. No advantage to being trained in something that makes you smarter because it also helps your spells. And regardless, people will just be defined by the combinations of archetypes, rather than the fiddling with items, spells, quests, all that much more complex stuff.

For example, my build had Scholar. That's nice and all, but that doesn't define who I am. Nothing about my strength as a person, my ultimate intelligence, wisdom, or how good I am at anything other than the fact that I know how to read books and went to a school equivalent.

I remember making an "I'm gonna have fun" build for Ordion, and getting buttfucked hard when I was forced to do combat
>>
>>46097792
That's one reason why quests should be optional really, though that's not a problem with Titanlands so much as it is something that pops up elsewhere often enough.
>>
>>46097828
Some of the quests gave permanent stat increases - there is zero reason to pick anything but that.
Just don't do that.
>>
>>46098023
There is absolutely nothing wrong with permanent stat increases. The point there was that quests shouldn't be required. If anon wants to make a friendly merchant, he can. That doesn't mean people who make warriors shouldn't be able to take quests that reward them with stats and such.
>>
>>46096945
I remember my first iteration of Ordion was really similar to Titanlands.

I liked that CYOA, I'll be glad to see an update.
>>
>>46097130
Lurl the simplest way to fix your cyoa is to get someone to skim through your cyoa and correct any grammar and sentence structure mistakes, then word your descriptions properly by defining what the player can and cannot do. For example define what kind of companions can or cannot be sacrificed via sacrificial offering or even impose a limit, like did with grappling hooks.

Multiply all the stat points by 4 so we're dealing with nice whole numbers and multiply any described stat thresholds by 4 as well. For example, instead of 3 being average human strength, its 12, and instead of 10 for herculean levels of power its 40, etc...
>>

I have a maybe stupid question. The occult spell "Greater Deform" can alter biology. Can it undo curse like Dullahan or Vampirism?
>>
>>46098429
That seems like it'd be a lot harder to actually make a good character.
>>
>>46098457
Depends on the person really, and the circumstance.

Generally speaking, normal people tend to care more about you or at least notice you alot more in the workplace.

As long as you keep your mouth shut, practice good hygiene, listen to their banter, follow rules/regulations, hide your power level and share brief snippets of your real life experiences that are similar to there's. As well as show genuine concern for their safety be willing to care about their petty problems. They'll be more willing to give a single fuck about your predicament.

It feels like grinding for guild/reputation points in an MMO then actually human interaction to me, Than again I am apathetic as fuck.

Its a lot easier to do than how poorly I have described it.

I've got enough raw power to take on a lot with pure magic, and with barriers, an ok AGI score, premonition, healing and blink; staying out of harms way isnt going to be too difficult. The real treat is using binding traps and combining them with fire and lightning, setting a magical killing field for larger monsters or to defend myself or the party during the culling. In case of fire or lightning resistant opponents/monsters, binding and blinking combined with a short bow and spear laced with as much poison as i can afford will be the order of the day. In my opinion, the only build that would survive the culling would be that one posted a few threads ago, where the anon goes into detail about how he plans to make shaped charge warheads, breeding oozes for their acid, fighting with ballistic knives and ooze acid spit in close quarter combat, and digging Vietnam war style tunnel networks and trenches.

To me that anon had the most /k/ worthy build and seems to be the most prepared for a free for all hunger game scenario.

But I still scratch my head and wonder he didn't take a battle rifle for his ancient weapon.

Both strategies just sound foolhardy and will get them killed against the veteran hunters.

Hunting monsters also require careful planning and preparation too. Such as knowing the terrain you'll be hunting in, relevant intel on how the monster hunts, its weaknesses, its strengths as well as how to track one of them down and than there's the profit margins from hunting the monster and if its meat, bones, hide can compensate for the enormous effort, money on equipment and time spent to kill one and etc and etc..

People generally don't think about these things beyond what the skills and stats allow them to do.

Nah, the best plan for cull is taking Exempt. Overdrive warrior with nullification might do okay, especially if you're incarnating.

>I think the main problem is getting the ammo for your gun.

This is not a problem for the savvy /k/ommando. Either you could take Alchemy under service and work towards a stable source of gunpowder or you could make your own out of the base components.

It's definitely not as good as modern smokeless powders, but it'll go bang.

I'm just saying that that anon went into detail about how he wants to fight other people, but was his build as viable against monsters?
It starts to feel like Dark Souls all over again: focused on PvE, but since there's PvP component it's all everyone cares about
>>
>>46099676

>focused on PvE, but since there's PvP component it's all everyone cares about

When you're fighting monsters, you could be as aggressive or passive as you want, and the monsters' behavior is relatively predictable, but for the Culling, you're forced to fight other hunters of varying levels of veterancy, and that is enough of a threat to warrant a lot of consideration in your build.
>>
>>46099097
Binding Trap Sorcerer here. Nullification is an issue yes, as a matter of fact I personally think that the tier 4 physical skills are the singularly most powerful; they do however have a limitation in that they are all time based, whether by stamina or as nullification puts it "for a limited duration...in close proximity", while powerful and definitely dangerous it doesnt mean a sorcerer doesnt have any way to counter, blink is the mainstay at this point, coupled with some utilities like premonition and healing means outlasting the nullification, overdrive or iron mass which in turn means victory.
>>
>>46099581
This. Culling is the most retarded part of the CYOA and the cost is reasonable so I never see a reason to not take it.

>mfw people taking about my build

Making gunpowder is surprisingly easy. You need a ammonium nitrate source, aka shit and piss a carbon source and sulfur which lowers the temperature required to ignite the mixture. You can extract ammonium nitrate very easily by filtering it out with animal fat/tallow, sand/gravel filtering and distillation to extract, concentrate and purify the ammonium nitrate this will take months. Any half decent alchemy lab better have sulfur and mercury. You need the sulfur to make sulfuric acid and you Mercury, booze and ammonium nitrate to make mercury fulminate primer.

But the REAL trick is making guncotton and cordite, the primary propellants used in 19th century guns.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrocellulose

>As he was working in the kitchen of his home in Basel, he spilled a bottle of concentrated nitric acid on the kitchen table. He reached for the nearest cloth, a cotton apron, and wiped it up. He hung the apron on the stove door to dry, and, as soon as it was dry, there was a flash as the apron ignited. His preparation method was the first to be widely imitated—one part of fine cotton wool to be immersed in 15 parts of an equal blend of sulfuric and nitric acids. After two minutes, the cotton was removed and washed in cold water to set the esterification level and remove all acid residue. It was then slowly dried at a temperature below 40 °C (about 100 °F).

>The process uses nitric acid to convert cellulose into cellulose nitrate and water:

>3HNO3+ C6H10O5 → C6H7(NO2)3O5 + 3H2O

>The sulfuric acid is present as a catalyst to produce the nitronium ion, NO2+. The reaction is first order and proceeds by electrophilic substitution at the C-OH centers of the cellulose.[8]

>The power of guncotton made it suitable for blasting. As a projectile driver, it had around six times the gas generation of an equal volume of black powder and produced less smoke and less heating.

Highest possible Skill level I could achieve to make me into a CQC dominator with a sprinkle of magic for a bit of diversity, Blink to improve on my dodging abilities and with Sixth Sense I'd hopefully be able to avoid most attacks.
Overdrive would be used for a last ditch effort attempt in case I get backed into a corner and combined with Bloodlust to mitigate the self inflicted damage.
To make up for my glass cannon nature I would aim to leech a dragon kill to absorb its soul and make myself a little bulkier and from then on its smooth sailing, hopefully.

Hah. Funny for me with my workplace I literally say about five words a day to my boss and that's about it.

Other then that I tend to stand around silently with my only co-worker maybe tell each other bullshit once in a while about the retarded things other people are doing in the place.

I also have found that I had more showers as a NEET then I have had going to work. Because working so much means I don't have time for showers while as a NEET I had them twice a day. It helps that I spend most of my time in one little area no one is around.

Still I find most people just tend to want to talk about bullshit and do stupid things all day long while mostly ignoring everything else until it hits them in the face. Like by you passing out in front of them.

These wonders and more in the Do/k/ument!

For ease of use I'd probably stick with a modern repro flintlock rifle, since all you'd need is the powder, projectile, and the things to clean it while still getting a firearm with pretty good accuracy.

Also you could reproduce it easily with the aid of a competent blacksmith, and give one to your monster waifu.

As long as you have a stead source of ammonia nitrate, you can do a lot of creative shit.

Hell combine that with aluminum, magnesium and iron shavings and fill it up in a tank with a wind up alarm clock dispersing mechanism and primer, you just made crude daisy cutters.

Against high defense hunters and monsters you don't even need to make fancy shaped charged warheads, you might as well go with stupidly simple E.F. P traps with a metal bowl and steel sheet guaranteed to penetrate their retardedly high armor.

All you need is ammonium nitrate and a simple primer like Mercury Fulminate.
>>
>>46099443
It's SUPPOSED to be, but ever since Bliss shoved in the Culling, that's all people want to talk about.
>>
>>46100035

Yes. That's not to say it's bad though. I liked the first version the most, but I can make due with these changes as well.

I just never posted my build because it was actually exactly the same as that anon who went into detail about shapeshifting, immortality, and world jumping. The only difference is I've got one more wish of being able to grant/share those abilities with others so they're equally as strong as my own without having mine weaken in any way from how they were originally granted.

Immortality's great. Shapeshifting is awesome. Sliding through the multiverse is sweet as fuck. But sharing is caring, I'm not the kind of person that could take a journey like that alone, or one that could survive like the Doctor, watching everyone else I grow attached to die while I endlessly continue on. Also I never could think of a good 5th wish so my build was incomplete on the first version anyway, unless I tried cheating with the Loving djinn to cram two of those four wishes into one.

It's true, a lot of plants have two kinds of signaling chemicals. One tells other nearby plants it's being attacked so they can either send out the second signal to amplify it or so they can start protecting themselves. The second signal is one that attracts predatory insects.

Spring of Drowned Girl.
>>
>>46100394
problem is you'd need to be a fairly long way out to avoid triggering premonition followed by a telepathy broad range scan (quickly detecting intelligence in larger areas would be the prime response during the culling) and I'm not entirely sure you'll have the means to create rifles that can guarantee a kill shot at sufficient range given anything ethereal is likely to have a form of healing
>>
>>46100461
Considering mercury can get dispersed through small liquid droplets in the air at room temperature there's no much you can do other than not breath.

>>

well the poisons skill would grant a significant resistance to mercury poisoning
perhaps that plus a form of makeshift breathing mask and the occasional magical antidote poisoning could alleviate it?
