New BB set supposedly coming out within 12 months
With the drop-off in activity as the league has finishe we might consider letting the generals drop off for a little while until we start the sign-ups again. I don't think there's very much format-wise to discuss - I believe we're still continuing with fresh TV1000 Rookies only for at least one more season before considering a TV split.

FWIW I would recommend to any regulars here to spec the UIXII qualifiers on fumbbl if they can. Some great teams and the cream of the coaching in the mix there and lots to enjoy.
I'd argue that we should start signups for S3 asap, for the hype not to let hype die down. The tumblr - reddit match can take place separately during them.

Not that anon. But it's known that a lot of the top tier Vets are taking a break this season from thier old teams. Others could easily dip into rookies with some list trimming. It's a good idea but waiting a season is probably better so there is a deeper vet pool next time and to hamper TV shenanigans. There would be a glut of 'rookies' this season and vastly fewer Vets. Waiting a season just makes sense.

Diving tackle is fucking useless. Nobody ever rolls lower than a 5 or 6 to dodge away from me. I used it three times in an entire season of people dodging away from my diving tackle pieces on Fumbbl and it never works elsewhere.

Not really, I know we all want to get playing BB again, but "hype" only draws in the types that will sign up and drop out after two weeks. We didn't do too bad for dropouts last season, but the ones that did happen were still a pain in the arse.

Ball Hawk: High AGI Big Hand/etc. Guy who can get the ball out while in tackle zones. Not too many teams can have a dedicated Ball Hawk.
Killer: (Claw) Mightlyblow Pile On, This guy spends half the game on the floor but every time he blocks your opponent gets scared.
Sweeper: This is the guy who covers your backline, Usually fast enough to reach anywhere in your backfield. Ideally he'll have Wrodge, Tackle Diving Tackle Sidestep etc are all good on him.
Safety: This is the guy whose just behind the frontlines, His job is to be there when you need an assist and to not get tied down. Best given guard.
Sacker: Forward version of Sweeper, Wrodge Tackle Frenzy etc.
