Do you use Felinids in your Imperial Guard?
How cat-like do you make them? Simply cat ears, full beastpeople, or something in between?
No.
>>44379504
I've never used felinids in anything. Don't really plan on it. I don't mind furries or beastfolk, but I just don't really like felinids for some reason.
>>44379504
Yes.
For target practice.

Last time, on Dragon Ball Tuffle Quest Z! You make it through the quarterfinals, defeating Sugil as your brother defeats Tien, Goku claiming victory against Lazuli as sadly, Chi-chi witnesses the true power of Aza. Now, the semifinals are close to starting, but first...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" everyone cheers. Videl and Pantea smile shyly as they look over the rather large cake Bulma brought for them, transfixed on it.
Yamcha rubs the back of his neck "Heh, guess it's a bit much, but-"
"THANK YOU!" the girls cheer, nearly jumping at the cake. Mark stops his daughter as Yamcha pulls Pantea back. Their mothers giggle softly, handing them both slices of cake, and then giving everyone else their own slice.
"Oowh, Strawhburry!" Goku comments with a mouthful of it, the kids already half-finished with their own slices.
"Monkey boy..." you grumble in a slightly annoyed tone. "Finish what's in your mouth first, please."
Out of the corner of your eye you see Tien and his students talking with Raditz, all of them but the Saiyan man looking like they're about to head off.
>A. Head over and talk with them before they do
>B. Eh, they're probably fine, no need to

I am Sief Atanor, heir to House Atanor and the Golem Raziel. Home, washed, changed in clean clothes and after a good meal, I feel better than I have in weeks. Travelling to the Iquani Expanse was a necessary experience, a worthwhile one, and even an enjoyable one in places, but I think sleeping rough out in monster-infested wilderness will still going to take a little getting used to.
For now though, I've no particular reason to take another journey out into the unknown. While I did pry the name of the cultist responsible for Mama Stump's attempt on my mother's life from the foul old matriarch, it's just one name in an Empire of millions, and most of my family's contacts have long since dried up due to neglect or my father's inebriated 'charm'.
Speaking of which, I've still yet to see the lord of the house since my return. I'm told he's become a little withdrawn while I've been away. While I should be happy that he's not been announcing his debauchery quite so openly, his silence by no means suggests that he's turned his life around in my short absence. I suppose I could go and speak with him, or perhaps I should wait until such time as I find him in a proper mood to listen.
In the meantime I still have Lucus to deal with, and while the lost knight seems to have taken the news of his house's collapse about as well as can be expected, he is still rather fragile, which might make it wise to ensure he is subtly supervised for the time being.
I feel like I have a lot to do, yet very little idea where, or even how, to start. Rather different from the drive I felt when I has hunting down Stump and her inbred clan.
>No sense putting it off, talk to your father
>Go check up on Lucus

At least tell him we've returned, it's only proper, even if we will have to actually discuss things with him another time.
Afterwards we can quickly meet Lucus and tell him to get some sleep, it would help both of us, and we'll talk about the future in the morning.
Watching the new star wars movies made me want to run a SW game. What are you guy's favorites?
>>44378368
Imperial Assault was fun, but we don't play it much anymore.
>inb4 the thread gets covered in X-wing player spunk
>>44378368
i'll be bloody honest....see below
>>44379263
you. i like you. but what i'm about to say might piss you off.
here's my Favorites:
--West End RPG. it was off center, but in those days, it was what we had...and, we made LEGENDS with that shit.
--the Decipher round1 card game...the one where each card was a force point.
--X-Wing, but i have to say, you gotta fix obstacles rules, and only play with Big Ships if on a 8x6 table or something with 12' deep deploy zones...
--D20 star wars needed mods, we modded it a lot
--the WotC plastic mini's game was evil...fuck, was it evil.... at least it had the only Basilisk War-Droid Models in the universe.
--i haven't played a lot of the new shit, post 2010-ish.
there has never been a perfect Star Wars game.
Can someone that has knowledge of 40k universe explain to me why in the year 40 000 where some can use teleportation devices, some use feathers and books?

As the title says. I'll start. Last game had a dual wielding fellow in 3.5 who has no sneak attack, no ToB punishing stance, no insightful strike from Swashbuckler, not even Favored Enemy Ranger Damage. Flat 1d6+1 / 1d4 per swing. Party level 11. DW-Bro is falling behind. Make up a wonderful midnight blue cedar box that could be described as Starry Night painted on it. Inside are dual blades - cutlasses with fiery burst / icy burst. 1d6+fire, 1d6+ice per hit for those unfamiliar with 3.5/PF - oncrit, they do an additional 2d10 elemental damage of their specific element.
Big dumb 2h fighter finds the box. It seems to be magically locked. (Can't tell the PCs that key is like 5 minutes away in the same dungeon. Gotta keep my poker face.) Fighter goes, sunders the box with an adamantine heavy flail. Bits of wood and steel and elaborately-crafted handguard go everywhere.
Incredible 2WF bro realizes what's up and gives me this look like I just shot his dog. Shrug at him and narrate that, "The box is destroyed. There are shards of wood and metal everywhere."
Feels bad.
>>44411901
Poor wieldy: is he in a rivalry between fighter dude?
Also, did you properly roll to make sure the swords in question were actually destroyed? There's a roll for that, you know.
>>44411979
Treated it as an AC 5 static object. Fighterbro rolled and confirmed a crit on it with power attack. Dealt like 40 or 50 damage - some obscene number. Think that would break a steel cutlass.
I feel bad doing that to my players. they're always utterly convinced their idea is going to work out perfectly.
/tg/ I need pictures of giants, both male and female, doing generic things or just any other portrayal than as just a monster manual entry. Anything that portrays them doing people things
Are they big guys for me?
Meanwhile on fantasy /tg/
>GM makes homebrew setting
>It's generic no-magic firepunk
Why is firepunk the worst setting?
Anybody know how to best approach forest folks for a quick game? I've been traveling for a while and they really like games over here, but never heard of Hazards & Humans
>>44399087
Because there's more than fire when in comes to power in real life, such as water and wind mills. There's so much more you could do with the genre firepunk is boring.

On Halloween last year, I ran a special Call of Cthulhu game where it turned out the cultists were just having a Christmas party. So this Christmas I'll be running a Pathfinder game one-shot about a Crystalhue festival gone horribly wrong. Doing that on the weekend though, not today.I'm totally not sweating bullets over the fact that I've only got my preparations half done.

Discussion topic: Who's your favourite beater? Who's your favourite scheme runner?
Just by faction:
Outcast beater-Rusty Alyce. Get her some good ground and she'll eat models, get her desolate soul and she'll pop aboms when she does it.
Outcast Scheme runner-void wretches. Cheap and fast, and can help in offensive bury lists.
Resser beater: for non master, bete noir, though she doesn't work in every list. 8 ss to eat minions on a flank, 10 to make masters cry.
Resser scheme runner: crooligans. They bring their own cover and get a free move when interacting. What's not to like?
Mei Feng Newbie here. I'm going to be getting my first game in sunday. I'll have Kaeris' box and Mei Feng's box to pick from, so obviously declaring Arcanist. Any hints and tips for a first game? Other than to get sleeves for the cards because holy shit they're slippery?
>Who's your favourite beater
Izamu. I just love that motherfucker so much.
