Yesterday's game: Carrasco was obviously still ailing yet he only gave up the 2 runs, one costly defensive miscue from Chisenhall leads to one of those runs, Indians don't cash in on RISP with only Kipnis and Chisenhall getting hits, and it's at the Royals who do play better at home. Indians could have easily won the game, and they still maintain the division lead. Hell, even if Indians get swept they'll be tied for the lead and go back home with decent chances of building that lead back up.
Baseball is a game of maintaining failure. In all other situations 30% is a failing grade, in baseball it's a solid BA, and the objective isn't to win games but win series. This is a loss that can be lived with. That said I'm expecting Royals to go 2-1 this series, which isn't IDEAL but again livable.

This photo was taken at a Babe Ruth League game in Syracuse in 1922 in which one of the teams was from an orphanage. Babe himself was given up to an orphanage as a kid so these kids love him more than most. An original of this photo sold for $27,000 in 2007.
I just wanted to share this with someone because I love baseball and I love everything and I love being alive. This should be the image for the next thread.
