On the chance that you're actually serious, the FBI and United States Government define a 'mass shooting' as any act of gun violence that kills four or more people, not including the perpetrator. If you combine the attacks in Paris with yesterdays attack in Orlando, you have a combined 180 deaths (not including the perpetrators, mind you). Even then, this is a generous estimation considering that both guns and bombs were used in the attacks, so the actual number of gun deaths is likely to be less. On the other hand, the 350 mass shootings from 2015 would put the minimum number of casualties at 1400.
So it's not really close.

This is just wrong. If the scale is relevant we shouldn't care about terrorism at all (after all how many people die in terrorist attacks compared to car accidents?). The idea of terrorism is to create fear, killing people is just a means to an end.
DeLillo wrote lots of interesting stuff on terrorism, for example he lets a writer character say (written in 1991):

Does anyone have a recommendation for a general signing in FM15? I fell for the Tielemans meme in my first season, and then later on I fell for the Erdervise meme and bought Zivkovic but they've both been painfully average/sometimes even just bad. The only good signing I've made during my 1 1/2 year spell at Chelsea has been Volland for >20 million english pounds sterling, so I need to sort my shit out in the transfer department. I actually don't have a very good budget despite being in the filthy rich club of Chelsea because I'm pretty shit at controlling my finances, so maybe someone I could pick up cheaply and transform into a world star.

I wonder if it's also due to a shift in training and coaching. I remember hearing that training nowadays is more focused on the physical apsects, and much less on the technicals. A few years ago, the physical difference between a player in a South American league and a South American league were much more notalbe. Just searcha photo of Aguero when he first got to Atletico Madrid and how he is now. The point I'm trying to make is that kids here develop technicals (mostly) on their own because they play in the streets and try to imitate famous players, what we call "potrero", you could call it flair. Brazilians have that too. And this has been going on for decades, so I think kids will always develop those abilities. Maybe the US and Mexico just need time and a few more world class players, so kids will look up to them and try to be like them. Apart from that, I think you guys are light years ahead from us in terms of facilities and professionals like physios, coaching and whatnot.

Because deliberate handball goals and other decisions along those lines are few and far between so why mess with a good system?
People are far too quick to say this sort of thing but its a big decision implementing tech to ensure these decisions are correct because how far do you take it? Every decision so even throwins and corners/goalkick reviewed or just every time the ball is in the net? Do you give teams an amount of challenges? If so how many and when are they allowed to use them?
This sort of decision will fundamentally change the sport, yes possibly for the better but its a big risk and it is unlikely there will be any going back so isn't it worth putting up with the occasional refball so you don't risk ruining a good thing?

In a way they are. This tournament isn't even half as important as those, considering the rivalries we had with the teams involved. We could've been champions in Brazil, after Brazil themselves got BTFO'd 7-1, but we didn't. And then we could've been champions in Chile, against Chile, but we didn't and we handed them the first cup in their history. Complete and absolute failure. It'd be too petty to review every little thing, but I don't see why they can't at least review every goal. Whenever there's a goal, look at the footage, make sure everyone was onside, there weren't any handballs or fouls, etc. It would ensure that no more unjust goals are scored while not really slowing down the game, since the time spent reviewing is usually taken up by players celebrating anyway.
