App State is the most popular underdog team outside of WKU in the country, they're easy to root for and they've had a lot of success in the past. GSU is also on the upswing. They're fun teams to watch.

The baseball team got hit hard by injuries. Two pitchers that were slated to start on the weekends were out before the season started, and the Friday ace was shutdown during the second week of conference play.
