Well the team had close games against FAU, UTSA, and ODU so I think they are beatable. I'm being hopeful on the Rice and FIU games. They lost some close games last year due to bad QB play because the guy they used was originally recruited for fcs play.
Most of the team returns this year and instead of using an FCS QB like they did last year they brought in a transfer in Olsen so the QB issues shouldn't be as bad.

Clemson and FSU won't leave, the SEC has been pretty clear about not adding any teams in States with already existing teams (though I could see an exception made for Texas). Besides, FSU and Clemson don't bring much to the table other than good football. If the SEC is looking to expand they'll probably try to pick up a North Carolina and Oklahoma team, though UNC or NC State would be nearly impossible to snag and OU would probably rather be in the B1G.
