guess i'll post this here:
>>67215784
>>67215775
i mean i'd love for the raiders to stay in oakland, but no one's going to pay for the new stadium. move to LA makes much more sense even though they'd be sharing the LA fanbase with the rams (though there are a lot more raiders fans in LA than there are rams fans).
would make sense to keep them in oakland otherwise, though. niners are shit and the bandwagon is going to move to the raiders soon enough. playoff bound this season or next.
>tfw you post right as a new thread is started
>>67215756
They won't. Raiders are fucked.
Rams owner has a lot of sway and he won't want to share LA with the Raiders.
San Antonio is too small, Texas media market already split up with two teams.
Las Vegas is their best bet for a new stadium. City growing economically and population wise. Davis has already publicly stated he would spend $500M of his own money on a stadium plan there. Brand new media market. Tons of tourism potential.
Problem is, NFL owners are mostly cranky old men who would reject the idea of a team in Las Vegas.
Raiders are going to stay in Oakland in the shitty stadium.
is belichick going senile
>>67215869

such bullshit. the league treats the franchise like absolute shit.

>>67215878
Bill, why did you get another QB? I-i'm your QB r-right?
Casual-ish Browns fan here
Is it true that they actually are having a good draft this year?
Pats are drafting that black QB from Navy tomorrow (who's converting to WR). All the reporters in Boston claim it's happening. Another wasted fucking pick. Once again, Belicuck is drafting players based on their good-boy personalities and not their fucking talent. (see; Jordan Richards, shit safety from Stanford, projected to go in 6th-7th-Undrafted - Belichick takes him in the 2nd last year)
I'm also guessing Belichick drafts that jewish kike white WR Braverman from that tiny school.
This faggot is ruining Brady's last years.
oh also the bucs got the steal of the draft in spence imo
>>67215945
*Keenan Reynolds
>>67215945
pretty sure Brady is ruining his own last years with this whole trial against the NFL. If anything it's a group effort.
>>67215932
he's probably talking about the market, which makes sense. san antonio is one of the best run and most successful franchises in the past 20 years and they're still a "small market" team.
the only deals their superstars get are commercials for a texas only grocery store.
>>67215947
>trading up for a kicker in the 2nd round
>Are you ready to run after and try to tackle guys like Eddie Lacy and Adrian Peterson
>Oh yeah
Aaron Rodgers is salivating right now
>>67215902
Money creates $way in the NFL.
The Bay Area is the 6th largest media market in the US. The NFL wants to cash in on that, but they won't pay for a new stadium in Oakland. The owners want their cut of that market money, but not share the cost.
$tan Kroenke, the owner of the Rams, is the second richest owner in the NFL after the Seahawks' owner. That has a lot of $way. He doesn't want a team that is already massively popular in LA competing with him.
San Antonio is a slightly larger media market than Las Vegas, but there is no money to be made there because the Cowboys and Texans already dominate that market.
Las Vegas offers the best opportunity for a new stadium, but the market is small and unproven and the cranky old men would block it.
Raiders are fucked.
>>67215978
okay yeah that was kinda retarded, it's not like he wasn't gonna be there in round 3 or 4
but spence is a legit 1st round pick that i mocked the bucs at 9 overall, i'm so impressed that they picked him up
>>67215970
not brady's fault that goodell and the owners are salty faggots
>>67215932
San Antonio isn't small, but it is a small market when you are the 32nd largest market in the US, competing directly with the #5 (Dallas) and #10 (Houston) markets which already have established fanbases in that city.
>>67215988
man this is why i hate football. thanks for breaking it down, though. i just never understood why the nfl wouldn't move the raiders to LA when there was clearly more than enough support there. makes sense, now.

Even so, there's no justifying taking him that high.
Maybe teams like Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks, etc. who go to conference championships year after year can afford to make a luxury move like that, but a great kicker isn't going to move along the Bucs rebuild any sooner.

No, it means you're not totally comfortable talking to the media and/or you're trying to choose your words carefully, to avoid getting sucked into the scandal that has incriminated your college teammate.
Also, even if he was retarded, that wouldn't necessarily prevent him from being a great player.
You got the best receiver in the draft at #24, after 3 other WRs had already come off the board. You should be excited.

>>67216916
>running game
Yeldon is pretty good and they signed Ivory.
>>67216916
>defense still needs work
does drafting the top safety and top linebacker not help that much? i thought they also had some guy from last year coming back this year who was good...
Who still needs a quarterback this year that might take Conner Cook?
I'm thinking the Bears might want to start thinking about a replacement for Cutler.
Dallas should be working on replacing Romo, but they won't because he's fucking Jerry's daughter.
Maybe the Saints?
>>67216896
>>67216915
I actually played against Ramsey in high school, he is legit.
Winning the AFCS might be a little ambitious. I think the Colts have serious problems right now. However, the Texans have a solid defense and the personnel moves they're making are interesting to me. I also think the Titans have some reasons to be optimistic. I'd still say Texans should be the favorites, but I think 7 or 8 wins and 2nd place in the division is realistic for Jacksonville.

The Texans are garbage. They still don't have a legitimate quarterback and their defense is actually crap but JJ Watt hides that fact really well.
Remember that Brock is the same guy that let Mack sack him five (5) times in the second half of a game against the Raiders and ended up blowing a game where the Raiders had like -40 yards in the first half.
>>67216943
I think the defense can be average. They replaced like half of the starters in free agency and the draft and they have a top 5 pick from last year's draft coming back from injury
>>67216954
.500 is ok i guess
is blake bortles actually good? his stats last year were really good i thought
>>67216984
right the fowler guy
will he be good even with the injury?
>>67216943
I don't know how good Jack will be coming off his injury, same with Fowler. The rest of their defensive personnel don't blow me away. Malik Jackson should help their DL. Ramsey will probably play corner, which should give them a decent secondary, so we'll see. Houston still has the best defense in the division, though.
>>67216932
yeldon was Amari Cooper's sidekick on the Alabama 2012 chamionship squad (as a true freshman). He split carries with Eddie Lacy. He is doing things in Green Bay from what Ive heard.
In 2013 Yeldon was the star running back for an Alabama squad that was seemingly destined to repeat (undefeated coming into the last game of the reg season) until the kick six happened. By the way that play will be one of the most infamous plays in sports history ever in case you need some insight. Amari Cooper had a 99yd reception in that game...fuck me
2014 Yeldon was mostly the premier guy in an offense that started to split some carries with a guy called Derrick Henry. Team made the playoffs and got fucked by a Buckeyes squad that tonight broke the record for most players EVER taken in the first 1-3 rounds in the NFL draft ever. Even more than the infamous Miami class.
basically what Im saying is that Yeldon is the most underrated bama back drafted in the Saban era and barring a gruesome injury should give the jags a reliable 3 down back for years to come
t. Alabama fan that has been in love with Yeldon from his first game
I fixed it, guys.

>and their defense is actually crap but JJ Watt hides that fact really well.
No, he definitely elevates them but they have other good players. They have a great group of LBs and CBs.
>>67217018
ok so the defense will be decent? and the offense? it seems like the passing game is really good and that the running game could be good
>>67217027
Nope, you actually didn't.
Post YFW you realize Goff has to play against seattle and AZ defenses 4 times a year. Both teams have elite front sevens and secondaries
>>67217072
I forgot they got Ivory. He and Yeldon should be a decent pair of backs, but their OL still doesn't look very good to me, so that could hurt their production.
>>67217072
Offense can be borderline elite. Their only weakness is O-line which should still be improved from last year.

>>67217122
>who is the starter, yeldon or ivory?
I would guess Ivory based on how well he played last year, but he's getting older and will be behind a bad OL, so it may be about 50/50.
>>67217095
Jags fans should expect growing pains next season but the defense will truly be elite after that (assuming Jack's knees dont give out). Dline is stacked. Secondary will be scary. Just have to make sure the linebackers live up to their potential.
offense is a toss-up. Could end up being the mediocre part of the team that keeps them from being a true contender or could end up being a force if Bortles, yeldon, and the wr corps keeps progressing
not to shit on the jag's parade, but what transformed them from up and coming to bretty damned good this offseason? did gabbert become more consistent? is the franchise making good moves? i know their 1st rounder was a great pickup but that's all i really know.

nah. Ingram was put in a shitty situation playing for a regressing Saints organization that doesnt allow RBs to shine. Given all that he has started to come into his own after the past season and is their premier back.
Lacy will continue to be a key cog in a packers squad that contends for championships every season.
I will admit Richardson ended up being the player that keeps the bama RB meme alive. He at least signed with the ravens and could still have a career as a backup in the NFL. Better than some other NFL busts
>>67217167
Gabbert isn't on their team anymore and hasn't been for a couple years. Blake bortles is a good qb, they have two great wide receivers and a solid TE. The problem is that the GM may be a fucking idiot. I find it hard to believe the GM knows how to draft defense at this point. All those rookies starting means nothing when they are the worst defense in the NFL. With Fox and Friends the Bears are making smart moves. This could be the year they start becoming the team they deserve to be. But if the defense can't preform again, the GM seriously needs to get axed before the trade deadline. I know that Pace and Fox are looking for a QB after the 2nd, so we will take someone here. Connor may fit. Fales isn't awful, but he's not a day one competitor, he is someone who slowly works up. He will be a decent backup I think which is why the Bears elevated him from the practice squad.
>>67217418
fyi that's really the difference between the packers and the rest of the NFCN (and most of the NFL) when it comes to QB.
the packers have a very competitive QB program, and they keep it that way through a lot of intervention.

let's save the laughing for when Aguero misses a field goal. other than that there will be teams who drafted players in the 1st and 2nd round that will accomplish less than Aguero in their careers

Pick was def way too high for a kicker but not as bad as some think. Bucs lost a number of games last year due to kicking game and as mentioned no longer are XPs gonna XPs. Aguyao was going to get drafted higher regardless and some mocks had him going in the 3rd but almost assuredly 4th. With the kicking rule changes, the most accurate kicker in NCAA history is gonna get taken earlier than conventional wisdom would suggest he should.
The one thing I really hate about the logic behind it is Bucs used a "free" 4th rounder to move up they got from Bears in round 1. Technically that's true since they still got their guy in Harvrgreaves. But there were so many other moves that they could've made and possibly still got Aguyao.
Like usual, truth lies somewhere in the middle. Was it a good move? Absolutely not but there are others that are far more cringe-worthy.

>>67221233
QBs from USC have a terrible stigma of under-performing or outright blowing chunks in the NFL.
Their track record includes well known flops like Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and John David Booty. The most premier of these and probably the best is Carson Palmer who, while better, is only average.
why is everyone acting like hue did something wrong in getting that qb?
he is obviously going to ride the bench while they develop the guy to be a proper second stringer
everyone is automatically assuming he'll be a starter day one but remember the browns only had two QBs before the draft and only one was a legitimate starter.
>>67218205

Hackenberg and Petty will still be sitting. Smith is on last year of contract and Fitz has no choice but to sign with Jets because he cant go anywhere else.
>>67221233
USC QB's never translate well to NFL. Only one that was even worth anything coming out of USC is Palmer, and even he was questionable.
>>67221250
There's a reason USC QBs get the wrap that they do and it's because they don't translate well to the NFL.
It's not even Cody Kessler's physical attributes that I care about, albeit they're pretty shitty for bringing into the NFL. I just can't see a player like this doing well as a professional role caller and making the sure throws when they matter.
Improvising is great, but we only see a scant amount of QBs with the ability both physically and mentally able to do it right away. Cam Newton and Russell Wilson could do that, for instance but Cody Kessler? As soon as he decides he wants to extend a play, he's going to get flattened, especially since he's in an organization like Cleveland.
>>67221394
I like him. Accurate, seems smart and quick in the pocket. Nothing wrong with a quick gunslinger over a cannon arm. Just needs a lot of work, which Hue can give him.
>>67221324
But you left out the one that wasn't and you went all the way back to Marinovich and Johnson to do it

>>67221389
>Carson Palmer
>Average

>>67221556
There's different types of improvision, Kessler isn't going to run like Cam or Wilson he's going to move through the pocket and find an open receiver. Also, the Cleveland is a QB graveyard meme needs to stop until we at least see how this front office and coaching staff does. The incompetence of Farmer and Pettine have no bearing on Hue and the moneyball boys

I also expect them to target Victor Ochi and/or Dadi Lhomme Nicolas.
I hope the Falcons draft the German because memes.
>>67223661
>Jaguars fly Michael Bennett to London to announce pick
And I thought the move to London was just an /sp/ meme.
>>67223732
Moritz is going to his favourite team, the Vikings.
its a saturday and the NFL draft is on for 7 hours today. unless you have a shit job it's going to be a comfy day to watch the draft and shitpost all day pretty based tbqh senpai i dont think i will leave my room all day
>>67223745
it is
but london has a NFL fans
>>67223732
Will Boehringer be the first NFL player ever to be drafted from somewhere other than the NCAA?
Why are the jaguars the most irrelevant team in the NFL?
>>67223599
He bud youre the that cries about /pol/ if someone even uses the word "shilling", I know youre new around here but Ill show you the ropes, we dont ever cry about racism on here, and rule numero uno? Dont ever get into an argument with Cowboys fans, were the most high Football IQ fans on here, it wont end well for you!
>>67223766
That'd be fun, I hope he goes to a tea that would try him at TE though because i think that's where he'd stick
>>67223868
I cringed
>>67223612
The partriots high flying offense beat the defensive seahawks, offense trumps defense, this aint your grampas NFL anymore
>>67223860
No not at all. Canadians get drafted fairly regularly.
>>67220903
None, his last name is Ward.
>>67223907
And the next year the Broncos btfo the pats and used defense to win the owl
>>67223732
my god I would love for the falcons to get the german in the 6th or 7th round. totally worth it imo these picks always end up being boom or bust and he is the ultimate boom-bust prospect. Another big target across from Julio would be fucking amazing. Hoping that other Stanford TE we got pans out. Toilolo is meh
>>67223903
Me too, I BTFO him hardcore.
>>67223907
Yeah that's why the number 1 ranked defense has won the super bowl 10 out of 12 times huh retard
This Navy quarterback the Pats will be drafting. I've seen him play & he's all heart with some talent. Does he stand a chance in the league? Doesn't he have to serve for a couple years?
>>67223907
>The partriots high flying offense beat the defensive seahawks
because of an interception by the pats defense
>>67223935
Did you see the game? The pats BTFO the Broncos at their own stadium but refball bailed them out cuz Goodell hates the pats
>>67223868
Who the fuck are you to tell me what to post and what not to post?
>>67223486
I think the prerequisite for that would be for Brady to think that's likely. The Pats will be very good without Brady. Probably still in the conversation year in and year out. But they won't be favorites year in year out like they are now. Perennial playoff participants, sure. They might even snag one more Owl between Brady and BB's retirements. But it won't be the same, and desu I don't think Brady seems like the kind of guy to begrudge his team success after he leaves.
>>67223907
No, the dumbest play-call in NFL history beat the Seahawks; not the Patriots high flying offense. You're not even trolling at this point, you're just being retarded.
>>67223967
Kek belicheck refusing to kick field goals is what cost them that game, not the refs
Thoughts? I just picked the positions I thought >we needed, I don't really watch college football
>@AdamSchefter 3m3 minutes ago
Multiple teams now attempting to trade up to first pick in 4th round, currently belonging to Browns, per source. A QB figures to be target.
the happenig is still on course!
except the 7th pick went off the board in the 3rd.
>>67223809
>7 hours
>check my tv guide
>it's true
Damn, I don't remember the last 4 rounds taking this long

I cringed again

>pats btfo the broncos
>pats lost
I don't think you know what btfo means
>>67223954
cannot understand why anyone would use a pick on him. played in the ultimate meme offense being a qb for a triple option team. not even sure how many throwing highlights he has out there since all he did was run the ball inside and out. only way i can see value is if I am undervaluing his running ability and he can convert to RB
>>67224010
He's a poor man's Percy Harvin. That's how I see him anyways.
>>67223994
connor cuck is dogshit. you'd probably better of drafting fucking jacob coker
>>67223971
Because youre on 4chan complaining about racist memes, just zip it and keep talking about football
>>67223996
>browns keep trading back
Jesus
>>67223955
The patriots won because their OFFENSE scored more points than the seahawks
>>67224074
The entire sixth round will be ours.
ALL OURS!
>>67224007
I hope you know saying "cringe" is actually cringe, do you watch cringe compilations on youtube too? Haha
>>67224080
And their DEFENSE got the game winning interception on their own goal line
can someone please remind me why they've held the draft in Chicago instead of new york the last two years

>he got so triggered that I once said something mean about his precious hugbox of a board that he started bringing it up in every thread I post in, even when I don't mention /pol/
Please take a good look at the mirror before calling someone autistic. I'm not replying to you again, have a nice day and I hope your team drafts well so you stop being so angry at teh world.
>>67224098
I cringed a third time
>>67224044
I want to like Coker but
>bama QBs
Bosa really needs to do something about that honking schnoz
>>67224074
Makes sense due to their roster being barren as fuck, might as well get as many chances at decent players as possible since they have so many starting spots up for grabs.
>>67224194
9001. USC QBs
9000. BAMA QBs
...
...
...
...
1. Every other teams QBs
>>67224194
Yeah that will always be a thing. Was hoping McCarron would get the bengals a playoff win but some nignog chimped out. Coker has the arm talent and he's a big guy with deceptive athleticism but the knock on his is that he is dumb as fuck and when he is under pressure he either holds the ball too long and takes a sack or throws a dragon into triple coverage
>>67224143
>he unironically cries about racism and calls out /pol/ when someone uses the word "shilling"
I want you to stop because everytime you do it the thread becomes a /pol/ thread

>>67224418
And how was that admitting anything? Yes I do point out when /pol/fags try to derail threads, but it doesn't happen too often, thankfully. I do not remember complaining about the word "shill".
Anyway, derailing the thread is what we are doing right now, so let's just stop. It's a free board where everyone can express their opinion. You might like racism, I might not like it, and we can't stop each other from saying anything for or against these memes. Let's just watch the draft, it's starting now.
Eagerly awaiting another safe draft day where we continue to make safe, sound, good decisions. Is this what good teams feel like?
Alright NFL "experts", I have 1 question, no meme answers about fluke injuries or anything, literally how do you stop the 2016-2017 Dallas Cowboys?
Ive been trying to come up with a way to stop them but I cant find a way, theyre too dynamic(Im not a Cowboys fan btw, just a realist)

>>67224714
No real hate, just being honest mate. Your qb is glass and you aren't gonna be able to protect him from every sack. One hard tackle onto that shoulder and he's done.
That faggot in the draft thread is making me hate cowboys fans more than I thought possible
Post elite GMs
Can this WR please pan out? Tired of Belichick drafting dud WRs

>>67224654
Why do you people keep acting like Romo is literally the only reason.
The Cowboys have a shitty defense and their O-line isn't even that great.
The Cowboys will finish 8-8.
Is the NFL top 100 the biggest pile of bullshit in the league?
>>67226233
it's just for fun, stop taking everything so seriously
>>67226233
>>67226261
When does it come out this year?
>>67226291
Wednesday.
Get ready for injured players or players who didn't even play at all, Adrian Peterson, making the top 100 but good players completely not making it.
Fuck you Bungles
>>67226321
NaVorro Bowman got left off last year because of injury. Most of the time guys who didn't play much the year before don't make it or fall way back. Peterson is the exception because he's the best back of his generation.
>>67226364
I don't get the pick for them, he doesn't fit their scheme at all.
I wanted Hargrave more and I'm happy >we picked him up, I'd rather Cardale/Dak but whatever.
>"Miles Killebrew will knock the honey buns out of Eddie Lacy"

How did such a mediocre team do so well? Ref decisions? Schedule babbies? Meme magic?
>>67227150
>mediocre
they're not and only retarded /sp/ contrarians like you think this. they did have a light schedule though, but you aren't a mediocre team if you go 15-1 no matter who you face

I'm still shocked how Can managed to do so well with only one good receiver.
