neat. now all we need is another white LB or DE.
>>67231167
Lol no
Let me tell you something, I've been watching this game for 30 years, and no rookie has ever impressed me as much as Boehringer has. I've seen all the greatest. I've seen 30 superbowls. I've seen it all man. Boehringer has that something special that I've only seen in very few players.
I went from D3 american football to D1 german football when I transferred schools and was immediately a starter on my team, which made playoffs. Its not hard to understand the rules. If you're a good athlete the skills from your prior sports are pretty transferrable. I've done enough oklahoma drills in my life to blast a guy on a ruck and other than the binding during the scrum everything came very easily. I scored a try in my first game.
The biggest different in german football and american football is the tackling. In american football I tackle you with impact in an attempt to stop your motion forward completely.
Face it. You're just going to keep moving the goal posts no matter what he does.
Moving to another country to play a sport you've never played before, and within a year making the main roster of an NFL team, something which millions of talented athletes who've played the sport their whole lives never manage to do, IS impressive no matter how you try to spin it.
Our thoughts exactly. We have a few of those special players (not all in germany) that have attributes similar to Boehringer but the massive difference is Boehringer had a vision and a dream to play in the NFL and if it wasn't the encouragement of who he looked up to (Randy Moss) Boehringer would have still been jamming Madden on the XBox. Now you Vikings faithful are seeing his X-factor. There is more to come champ, watch this space.
So happy with this draft
Get the fuck out of here adam theilen, marcus sherels, charles johnson and patterson.

Guys, what if the Broncos had 2012 Tebow at QB last year?
Rate your teams draft
I'd have to go C+
Eli Apple was an ungodly reach
Sterling Shepard was a great pick, but we could should have taken a Linebacker or a Tackle
Darian Thompson is a great pick
B.J. Goodson is a linebacker and by default is good because Reese usually loves 27 year old, undrafted free agent linebackers who had knee issues
Love the Paul Perkins pick and he should be the 2nd RB on the depth chart and we can finally cut Andre Williams
Jerrell Adams is a good pick.
We didn't get the tackle or guard we needed so we can get rid of Jerry or Newhouse.
Pretty self explanatory. Good teams who play bad teams get a win. Any other game is left at a tie.

I know a lot of people are upset that the Browns drafted so many WRs, but honestly I think they needed to overhaul that position.
Definitely glad to see that Hue is aggressive in building an offense. Starting to feel optimistic about not having the #1 overall pick next year

I just don't understand the hype about Jalen Ramsey. Sure, he's athletic and posted some good numbers at the combine, but I just don't see what makes him such a potentially good player.
For one, he only had like, what, 4 interceptions his whole college career?
Of course I'm no scout or media analyst, so I could be COMPLETELY freaking wrong, but I watched game film of him from four or five games and he just didn't stand out to me. Some of the plays he made that ended up on his highlight reels seemed either routine (as in he did what he was supposed to and nothing more) or right-place-right-time.
Also, he seemed to lack aggressiveness in a lot of scenarios, especially in run support. A lot of his tackles were all weird and not what you'd think would be taught as fundamentals.
Again, MAJOR DISCLAIMER, I'm probably just a complete dumbass and don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, but Ramsey just doesn't seem like a first-rounder to me, let alone a top ten pick.
Of course, as a Texans fan, I hope to the lord JESUS CHRIST that he's a major bust and gets lost in space/burned by Hopkins, Fuller, and both Millers (Lamar and Braxton).

Texans fan here.
I know that feel.
>Will Fuller (WR)
>Nick Martin (C)
>Braxton Miller (WR)
>Tyler Ervin (RB/KR)
I was hoping the Texans would nab a D-lineman to replace Crick in the second round. They now have NO ONE at that DE spot. Good lord.
>>67234038
>Texans
>Losing ALL of their divisional games
>losing TWICE to Jacksonville AND Tennessee
I could see the Texans losing twice to the Colts if Andrew Luck comes back with a vengeance. But there's no way the Texans lose to the Jags and Titans twice, even if those teams ARE improved.
Granted, the Texans didn't play against Mariota last year, but Watt usually feasts on Bortles to boost his sack count every time.
>>67238232
Hopkins is still young.
>>67238224
>Texans
>Will Fuller, Nick Martin, DJ Reader
>Will make playoffs and maybe divisional round, might be division leader again if they can at least beat the Colts at home
>Lamar Miller (just guessing cause I ain't got a FUCKING clue)
>Myles Jack, IguessmaybeIdontfuckingknow
>Positions my team still needs and I wish they addressed in the draft
OG, LT, TE, DE
Safety will probably be average at best. Texans have Demps, Hal, and now KJ Killon (who might develop into something) for depth.
Although Crick wasn't great, he was the best the Texans had at that DE spot, and now they have literally whos behind him.
Hopefully Fuller learns to catch with his hands better. He showed signs that he's at least been working on it at the combine and his pro day.
I think Nick Martin will be a good center once he settles into the system.
Braxton Miller might make a good slot receiver in time.
Tyler Ervin could make a decent kick/punt returner if Izzo could finally get special teams to work as a cohesive unit (MAINTAIN LANE INTEGRITY DAMMIT) and block without penalties (for GOD'S SAKE).
DJ Reader could make a suitable replacement for Vince Wilfork if he doesn't go the route of Louis (No Wind) Nix III (what a major disappointment).
If the Texans can find a way to shore up the hole in Crick's absence, and the offense clicks with Osweiler and company, the Texans could be on their way to being playoff contenders, not pretenders.
I really wanted Hunter Henry, though. Fuck you, Chargers.
>>67238617
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Still, kids need to learn that if they enter the social media arena - especially if they plan on being pro athletes - they need to keep a wrap on that shit.
