I don't think you can get bankrupt the same way you'd be in real life. But you car expect you wage budget to be of zero or negative, having to sell players to keep the club afloat, your board not giving you nay kind of margin player or staff wise and slowly descend into hell. Obviously the risk is that you'll start underperforming and get eventually relegated while healthier clubs will poach your players for little money. You could also resign.

The sad part is I'm doing the worst with the best team. Only in 2017/18 though but this season was a disaster so far. Flopped in Europe badly, and only 2nd in the league too. Teams usually play with 2 DM's and very deep. I have this problem then, that everyone plays defence in the league while in Europe I'm getting ravaged by Schalke and Real Sociedad as I'm struggling to adjust my game to being the underdog.
I also made some stupid decisions and keep restricting myself to as few foreign players as possible so I splashed millions of € on Slovene players from abroad instead of bringing in foreigners for cheaper. I mean I brought 2 foreigners into the team and even that was purely because I got agent offers and they were really cheap.

Drop deep, Counter, Retain Possession, Slower Tempo, Pass Shorter.
Yes, Drop Deep. Because they have so many players it here you can't pass; having more of your players in the box won't help at all so to invite them to get low and have less feet in the box for the ball to bounce onto, Drop Deep. Possession instructions so they don't hoof, Counter play relatively fast (possession) but rather safe compared to Attacking.

I had that with Matej Poplatnik. before rerolling the save he'd develop in a really decent player, PA of around 125 or some shit. When he started getting playing time due to having more fixtures to play, he was already 24. And in SI's world, a player that's 25 or something doesn't develop in any way in his base stats. A Saudi Arabia club poached him away for 3.7M€ when I had planned to let him go on a free at the end of the year, so I obliged.

it changes from version to version. if they've played like shit, aggressively telling them to sort it out at halftime is pretty effective, but if you overdo it they'll get mad and stop trying.
one thing that's remained relatively constant (as of 15 anyway, that's the version I'm on) is that "we're huge underdogs... no pressure" + "I have faith" against significantly stronger teams works a little too well
for other games, telling them to get revenge or to pick up where they left off last game works pretty well.
"don't get complacent" at halftime is famously ineffective, telling them they've played well is usually better

I tend to use three different tactics and swap one of them out every season because they seem to just naturally fall off. I dont if its because the AI counters them or because of patches or whatever.
Anyway playing a really defensively oriented 4-1-4-1 in almost every away-game has worked well for me this year. At home go all in for the wins, taking risks seem to be far more rewarding this year than in 2013 for instance where you'd concede a late goal always.
Dont be afraid to swap tactics if you're having problems, use the sidelline tactics. "Push forward" is underrated imo.

Depends how tall and fat your striker is as well as how technically good your squad is. If he's a manlet (below 6'0") with less than 10 Jumping Reach+Heading, forget it. You don't have to go full tiki-taka but if you hoof it to him you're gonna have a bad time.

That's basically the biggest point of Bosman. You'd also have to destroy the UE. I'd probably play a DB like this one but with modern clubs. That would seriously fuck up the DB however.
