Well Aoki has always been a killer when it comes to finishers. He cranks on stuff like Iminari and Paul Harris whether he hates his opponent or not so I figured it would be the same as his striking. I figured he had Sakuraba in a good position and starting trowing punchs. And they looked like they cracked Sakuraba good too. He was bleeding and just turtled up. I am not sure how much of that was Aoki doing damage or just Sakuraba being too old and out of shape.

Just watch, the plan all along is set up the rematch and have Ronda be super eager and confident to get back in there and take back her belt. This will reinforce in the causal audience's mind that it was a one time thing and nothing more than a fluke, protecting her image. A few weeks out from the fight she will get injured in training and not be able to fight. They will give Meisha the opportunity to step in short notice, which she will because she has been bitching about her title shot too much to turn it down. Holly will be too nice to turn it down. If Meisha wins then Ronda will come back 3-4 months later and collect another arm. If Holly wins then Ronda will have at least have had 9-10 months long recovery period in which to let her brain get un-heemed and work a bit more on a strategy.
