More divisions would be a terrible move. The talent pool in MMA is shallow as fuck, look at 205 now, there aren't many prospects around, the division's champ is a relatively old guy with lots of wear and tear from his wrestling days. The biggest prospect of the division just heemed everyone in it.
I think you could make a similar argument for 185 and 265,the only divisions with tons of talent in them now are 155 and 170. You could make an argument they were always like that, but I get the impression the heavier divisions are getting worse and dividing the talent in them would make it way, way worse.
