Wouldn't surprise me if it would be the other way around. JDS took a shitload of damage in his last four fights. I think, despite his lack of chin, Overeem will be able to stand with JDS and force him against the cage and ultimately dismantle him. Miocic hurt JDS real bad there and I think Overeem will come with the same gameplan but with a bigger arsenal of strikes.
Despite my probable bias for the Reem, I think the odds are much closer than the majority of the people seem to think.

The reem literally has some of the best pressure fighting and clinch fighting I can remember, he mauls motherfuckers in the pocket against the cage but the problem is he forgets that and stands in front of people till they heem him.

I love how hating the UFC has become such a meme. If they make a rematch it's boring, if they don't make a rematch it's unfair. I think the only way the UFC, at this point in history, could avoid criticism is if they stopped making fights all together. They can just have a cage on constant livestream, with refs and judges on duty, and fighters can show up and fight each other whenever they want and get a predetermined share of the profits.

I'd argue he did very well against Browne and Bigfoot, dominating them before he gassed out. Rothwell on the other hand, he got countered throwing a telegraphed punch and went down. A bad loss.
But that doesn't guarantee a KO for JDS. Roy Nelson has a big right hand too and he wasn't able to land it till the very end of the fight.
JDS has arguably taken more damage his last few fights than Overeem in the above mentioned fights.
JDS has been out for a year and I personally think he won't be the dominant Junior dos Santos we knew.

Yes. It's been a while since I read it (before the Rashad fight), but there are some interesting backstories about his early fights, the early UFC in general, and when he fought Alistair and Rampage in PRIDE. He gives detailed assessments of his past opponents. Also some feels, IIRC he was born with an illness or painful disorder that doctors said would cause him to lose his ability to walk and his mother helped him get over it throughout his childhood. He said it gave him his resilience. He also tells stories about streetfights he's been in, some of which are funny, and gives some streetfighting advice. It's a pretty entertaining read if you are into fighter books.
