Next season is the big one for Oakland, the defense is quick to the ball and WILL hurt your QB, the DBs have gotten better, David Amerson will be a young, lock down corner, T.J. Carrie will be snatching passes out of the air, Charles Woodson will absolutely fuck your shit up, with a pick, strip, sack or even a hard hit, Nate Allen will be an underrated playmaker and lock up the deep passes with the help of Woodson, of course. Khalil Mack will be the next hybrid of LT and Howie Long, he will not be blocked, Edwards Jr. has a great skillset for a young player, with the tutelage of Justin Tuck, Edwards will be the next Greg Townsend, Aldon Smith will join a fierce and quick LB corp, joining the former superb owl MVP Malcolm Smith, quick-paced stud Ben Heeney, and hard hitting Neiron Ball. Dan Williams is the anchor of front 7 and helps neutralize anything over the middle, you can't run on this team's line for more than a yard. The 2016 offense will be a high octane force to be reckoned with, young upstart Derek Carr has found his groove and is starting to be recognized with his play against tough defenses and his ability to read said defenses, Latavius Murray is a nice blend of power and speed, Taiwan Jones is a dangerously fast and elusive back, a formidable 1-2 punch for the rush, then you the big, multi-faceted FB Marcel Reece and speedster Jamize Olwale, Reece is a true vertical threat, and Olwale, a FB, can flat out fly down field. Amari Cooper has certainly shown what he can do, he's fast, sturdy and can burn anyone who blinks when they cover him, Michael Crabtree brings his blend of talent and experience to Raiders' receiving core, Grabtree can go out and bring anything in for the 7, Rod Streater is another young, high potential receiver, he encompasses the vertical game perfectly, you'd best be thankful JDR hasn't used him yet, and with offense lighting up the boards, we come to the o-line, anchored by Hudson, this offensive line will give any d-line fits!

I was unsure before today's announced injuries. Maybe it's in my nature of keeping my expectations low, but Blount being a good blocking RB hurts. Bolden's running game showed some promise against the Texans.
Easley's case is much more sensitive. He was having a great season. Sheard and Jones are great at rushing from interior, Collins is back and Hightower should be returning soon. Thing is Sheard doesn't have Easley's explosiveness and he's one guy you just can't "plug-in play" for so easily.
