You guys are putting way too much stock into muh prospects. Especially for one that's only had 1 half season of A ball (yes I know there's other players, but most people are only concerned with Swanson).
The Diamondbacks division rivals got weaker and they're taking the opportunity to win now. It's not a bad idea at all to go all in right now. Prospects are nice but sometimes they don't pan out and then you're back to the drawing board. Not to mention they already had a solid team to build around, pitching was just the last step.
Let's also not forget that Miller is young and under team control until 2019. He wasn't going to go cheap.
Honestly, as long as Miller's elbow doesn't blow up, this is a fair trade for both sides.
