Personally I'm pissed off about the instant rematches in the UFC. Cain didn't deserve an instant rematch and neither does Ronda, instant rematches should be reserved for close and competitive fights where it felt like it could go either way, not one-sided beatdowns with decisive finishes. It's fucking stupid. All it does is make the contender have to beat the champ twice to be the new champ.
IMO it's a lot better for the sport if you establish a champion by having them fight another top contender, it's not like Werdum and Holly lack competition in their weight classes, Arlovski should've had a title shot right after he beat Browne, and Miesha Tate deserves a chance too.
