the algorithm should be able to know if the roles players are assigned are similar and stuff so that the progress in chemistry is not entirely fucked up just because you wanted to place your players a little differently.

and to the overall chemistry I think the instructions are even more important than the roles.
too often I'll assign the wrong players to the wrong positions before entering the match so I can change the tactics in the match environment so it doesn't affect that stupid meter that is the only feedback I have.

Especially if like most of /trb/ you like to build a young squad then they'll be far more susceptible to the hidden mentals/personality side of the game than a team of grizzled veterans so tough/important games coming thick and fast in cup games and the league will definitely grind them down.
