Batting cages, hit off of a tee. Make sure to switch the height so you don't get used to one pitch. Have someone lob you baseballs repeatedly while you hit them into a fence. Swinging with a weighed bat is good too for increasing bat speed.

Seeing lately how the Barves have developed some of their own pitchers and infielders, they seem to trust their coaches enough to do something worthwhile with the new raw materials.
The team is still probably going to suck for longer, but they might be infatuated with the Astro's situation. That if you jump into a rebuild instead of easing in their risk might pay off higher. I can't say I fully disagree with them looking at salary inflation and the risk present in the team's non-player obligations.
On the down low, I don't like Teheran or many of their relief arms. But I wouldn't put it past the barves for making something of the talent there.
