Ozan Ayicek: central midfielder, 7 yellow cards in 372 apps
Dossena: central midfielder, 1 yellow card in 66 apps
Pintinho: central midfielder, 2 yellow cards in 170 apps
Note that I don't know how many were for arguing with officials, but I don't think I've ever seen a player of mine booked for arguing with a ref. I'm about 90% sure their bookings were for actual yellow card offenses in-play
maybe it's because they have low aggression (8 and 7) that they can argue without getting booked for it, i'll try to keep an eye on them in future

like imagine a guy like John Terry, who always approaches the referee in a sensible, calm, collected fashion to intelligently argue his point - won't really get booked for it because he's always polite about it but he could still influence the refs future decisions
on the other hands other guys like di maria may argue with the ref by getting into their faces and going over the line and get booked as a result of that.
those players should unlearn argues with ref ppm. other players should be allowed to keep it

This effect would be balanced by the fact that ambitious players become the better players and are more likely to win than not anyway.
Ambitious players who are in shitty teams are encouraged to leave for higher clubs as their morale is abysmal.

Imo it's much more productive to hand starting managers a book on team building and strengths and weaknesses about certain tactics, and what they require from players. They're isolated and hard to make work, and CWBa with a crowded center are just so deadly.
Especially AMR/AML are really really isolated and its just not worth the effort to get them to work consistently.
If you want your formation to work, you'd ideally want a RPM and a CMa in midfield, I think. also, dont use the "play wider" instruction - your formation is already wide. In fact, you might want to try "play narrower".
You might want to try "run at defence" if your wingers are good. you might want to put their positioning to good use and have them dribble a bit.

This is what I actually use, though I'm considering to use what I posted before in FM16 mainly because the Half Back does not do his job. He does not defend enough (he's just roaming around too much in midfield rather than defending almost like a 3rd CB would, like Xabi Alonso does at Bayern) and does not add anything to my build up either, so I was considering dropping him for a 3rd actual CB so that I can use two CWBa. Using a CWBa is just so much better than CWBs, they're difference makers and bully every opposition and give them loads of trouble. I'm still unsure though as to whether or not I should use them in the wing back position or if I should keep them in the fullback position.

I used literally this formation for 3 FMs before switching to what I'm currently using, I even used most of the instructions (I had retain possession, work ball into box, play out of defence, look for overlap, close down more, push higher up and lower tempo). The only difference is that, in FM15, I used a RPM instead of an APa, and it worked much better than the APa did.
I switched to my buttplug formation just because I felt like it, mid-season. I used my wingers (they couldnt even play AMC) as AMC just to try the tactic out for 1-2 games before I change my squad in the summer, and it worked so well that I just ditched my winger formaiton and kept on playing the buttplug, even though I only had 1 player who could play AMC.
