He has been an AMC for me in his entire career and he's the goat, no doubt about that. I want this kid to win the ballon d'or at some point in his career before I retire.
The thing is though that I have shitloads of world class AMCs (I have 5) and I've got 3 more godlike AMCs in my youth that will be promoted and get a spot in the first team in the next two seasons.
I play a 4-1-2-2-1 narrow and I just don't have that quality in central midfield. I have one promising kid who will be really good but not as good as any of my AMCs. Because of that, I'll have to convert half of my GOAT AMCs to CMs so that I don't waste my talent.

Maybe we exaggerate a bit, but if you take a look back, you'll notice that all those young Portuguese players that flopped have african origins. It's like Yaya Touré said recently, as soon as they get the media spotlight on them and their first big contract, they stop getting better. And they flop.
This current generation of 16-20 year olds have no such players, normally from Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde and Sao Tomé e Principe (and Brazil, to a much lesser extent). Bernardo Silva, Guedes and Rúben Neves, which are the ones that stand out the most, are 100% portuguese. I think the only players that hailed from our ex-colonies that turned out to be world-class level were Eusébio and José Aguas, and that was in the 60s.
